    Great interview love Kendall so much and her involvement with the Sharks broadcast team a couple of years ago was the reason I chose the Minnesota Frost as my PWHL team and I am so proud to be a supporter of the Frost!!! #PWHL #FeelTheFreeze #Minnesota 💜❄️

    I must say, loved this interview with KCS. Always liked her as a player, didn't know much about her outside of that except what we have heard about her involvement creating and pushing for this League. And then all the "bad" stuff we heard that happened in Min. with Natalie Darwitz getting let go and apparently the involvement of KCS in that left a bad taste regarding her. Wasn't crazy about the drama and the lack of information about what actually happened. So i must say I really loved listening to her and the passion she has for the sport and the league. Thank you!

    Rather than pointing out Drew was cranky after Game 5, Tessa should have asked KCS why her son is a Boston fan! That was the most popular theory in UA-cam chat. Thanks as always for a great interview!

    God I'm such a wuss. I am sobbing watching this. Something about Kendall is just "womens hockey" to me. I am 34 so I missed a lot of the great women players that I know existed for many decades but for me it's Kendall it's Hilary it's MPP. It's the 2018 Olympics. I have read her book many times, most recently as a mother of a 10U hockey daughter and that hit the hardest. To hear what you amazing athletes went through to get us the PWHL is the most emotional and frustrating thing to me. It has me screaming FUCK THE PATRIARCHY every time. I'm so thankful that I'm raising 2 girls during the time of the PWHL. My daughter and I went to a MN Whitecaps games and we were so pissed off at the facilities, the coverage, the lack of respect and eyes on womens hockey, I just didn't understand why no one else was watching this! Now I get it. I see the work she has put in and for me, she will always be the one who introduced me to the game. This is an incredible interview Tess. One of the best sports interviews ever.

    After three games, the referees are awful!! They still lack consistency in their penalty calling; hello, it's year two!! And their video reviews are insanely too long! Sirens and Frost are really strong all around. The Victoire and the Charge are still searching for their identity as a team; Chuli and Maschmeyer were incredible in nets! Scepters, especially Campbell, had a bad game against the Frost, but they will bounce back. And the Fleet get it done no less against a very strong Sirens; very gritty game, loved it! The break is like having another training camp except with game video to improve. The games are only going to get better! Now, if only the refereeing could match the quality of the play. KCS, a true leader, great interview!

    Tess is me as a mom. I relate to your attitude and demeanor so damn much it's refreshing. So many of my friends and family take parenting so seriously and it stresses me out but you take the same relaxed "idgaf" approach as me and it's validating❤ I'm so obsessed with jocks in Jill's and I'm gutted I haven't discovered you until this year!!!

    I don't see why Boston would refuse Soderberg to go to Europe, it doesn't look like she'll be getting much playing time again this season

    That Tapani hit shoulda been a major. Twice in one week now the league botched a major call. Not great for player safety

    • @seven_curses
      @seven_curses 8 днів тому

      From what I understand the call was Roughing, which is why it was downgraded. If they had called it an Illegal Check major on ice it likely would've been upheld. I don't understand why they can't change the call on review. It should be about getting the call right.

      @@seven_curses Ya that’s how I seen it explained as well. Totally agree with you. It’s crazy that a player can have a major reduced after such a dangerous play due to a technicality like that.

    You Canadians are so biased when it comes to Toronto. You would think we watched different games. Minnesota dominated the first period and third periods. The second period was a wash. Minnesota has dominated every team they have played so far this year. They spend most of the game in the other teams end, control the neutral zone, and out shoot every team.

      Richard, people from the Toronto area are biased. The rest of the country appreciates a worthy hockey rival. I love seeing Team Canada being outplayed. The 2018 gold medal game is the best women's hockey game I have ever seen. We are the super power of hockey. Seeing a few girls that skated on the rivers of minnesota and a few lesbians and their friends from boston come from behind to tie the game and then win it in a shootout was about as good as it gets for a Canadian. Canada had won the previous four gold medals in women's ice hockey prior to that gold medal game in 2018. 20 year old Maddie Rooney playing like she's 20 year old Patrick Roy who led the Montreal Canadiens to a stanley cup. The Lamoureux twins...monique tying the game in the dying minutes...and her twin sis jocelyne ending it in an amazing penalty shot....that was beautiful. We are Canada...we pray for a worthy rival. Do you know that in the middle of the cold war, one of the biggest ovations in the fabled Montreal forum was reserved for a member of the Russian Red Army hockey team? The Russian Red Army came to play NHL teams in the 70s. It was quite a step up from playing amateurs in the olympics or collections of players from various NHL teams who play together for a couple of weeks. And yet, ONLY the two time defending stanley cup champion Philadelphia Flyers beat the Russian Red Army. The Flyers beat them 4 to 1. However, there was a team in the league that year that would prove much better than the two time defending champions. The Montreal Canadiens eliminated the Flyers in the finals in four straight games but not before playing the Russian Red Army to a tie of 3-3 on new years eve. The score could have been 10 to 3. Russian net minder Vladislav Tretiak was out of this world good. When it was over, the habs faithful stood and applauded like crazy for the Russian Red Army's goaltender. In 1989, Vladislav Tretiak was inducted into the hall of fame even though he never played a single NHL game. Muhammad Ali captured the spirit of competition best when he said: "Thank god for smoking Joe (Frazier), he always brought out the best in me."

    Slow motion replay helps add context especially with collisions at high speed. It is a useful tool that proved Meullers stick did the damage. Stay in there and absorb the hit dont make a last minute adjustment or thats gonna happen. The on ice official told Boston coach exactly that. The league has it out for Minnesota. Where's the Tapani sussy? Why are they taking a break if no PDub players are going from American and czechia?
