Things will get better. I was bullied during my whole highschool, which left me with severe GAD and social anxiety, as well as chronic pain, since I was 16 years old. My family was never able to give me emotional support or understand me. Now I am 21. My life is far from being wonderful, but I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have a wonderful psychotherapist who helps me a lot, I met some friends who accept me for who I really am, and I am studying the bachelor I really love. Listening to Stick Figure always help me to maintain some optimism when I feel again down in the muds, or unable to sleep because of severe anxiety brought by those past memories. I know everything might seem impossible and bleak right now, but you have to trust life, because it can (and will) surprise you if you keep going on fighting. Trust me.
