People need to think back to when they were 13 and how they would have reacted - it would be very different to if you were an adult. The victim is right, more information needs to be given and schools with the emphasis on not being scared to come forward and you will be protected, as its clear she did not come forward because she was scared for her and her family's life.
Apparently some of the people responsible for the crimes didn't just operate in one area. Instead, they moved to other regions to carry out similar crimes. This shows that the problem is widespread and well-organised. It also supports her call for a national inquiry to fully understand the size of the problem and make sure that it is not ignored or split up between different areas.
We need to find out all of the people that were complicit in covering up the crimes. Politicians, judges, CPS, and Media . The people that were victims and those that were destroyed for trying to publicise the issue deserve justice.

There is no such thing as the perfect victim. Many victims return to their abusers particularly child victims. My concern is the fact she was spending nights on end out of the house. If I was 13 and stayed out even one night without permission my mum would've put me on COMPLETE LOCKDOWN. but I am alot older so I guess things have changed
