My father showed me this album when it came out when I was in the 1st grade…. I’m 27 now and have my first child on the way… I love him so much and pray I’ll be even a fraction as good of a father as he was to me

I loved each an every different version of My Immortal, you can hear it as a demo with her teenager vocals and the movie like strings made by the producers gave it another feeling to those demo vocals... then the band version we all loved as a music video and single, then a live version of her current vocals and the perfected sound the current lineup gives to it after playing it with her for over 17 years (minus Emma on the years count but she is playing on that live version of 2022)... to then this version which takes the band( out of the band version) giving it another feeling ... because it's not exactly the same one, as I hear another take of her vocals in the chorus, ......in the Mystary or band version she changes lines in the chorus to "I'd#"instead of just "I"... " When you cried I'D wipe away all of your fears"..... that's on the band version, but in this string version is an extended I... "Qhen you cry IIIIII wipe away all of your fears",,,,,, so I know i's a small difference but I like it, if the label would have not released the demo version for the Daredevil the movie nor decided to put it on track 4, and the band wasn't added at the last minute for the music video.... This version would have been the official one on the Fallen record, having her more matured vocals from the recordings of the Fallen album and not having to be ok with the label putting her teenager vocals with the fake piano and the different style of strings..... the string arrangement David Campbell did on this version on this video are far superior than the ones from the movie soundtrack.

Hmm that song around second 0:50-55 and other parts seems to have artifacts (carcklings). Seems to be on all versions, also on the FLAC from Bandcamp. Not so good for a remaster. :( Still happy to own it, but it's a bit of a bummer.
