Changmun Art Center, a closed elementary school turned into an art center!

It opened in May 2001 after changing the closed Changgyang Elementary School into a studio, gallery, and outdoor sculpture exhibition hall.
Sculptors, painters, and installation artists reside and engage in creative activities, invite outside artists to collaborate, and then hold an exhibition. In addition, it operates the Window Culture Rural Experience Village together with the residents of Suhwa-ri, Hwaseong-si.
It provides art education such as painting murals and clay making for city children visiting villages, and plans rural culture experience programs such as farming experiences and harvest festivals.
