Winnie, Tigger, Athena, McKenzie, Percy, and Katniss: Time-lapse Six Cat Portrait in Colored Pencil

- The story of these six wonderful cats spans over 30 years and is a testament to their family's love of cats.
As you'll see in this time-lapse video, it took many drawing sessions to create this portrait using Prismacolor Colored Pencils on 24" x 36" archival paper. It took a little less time to collect biographical info in a phone interview, write and record the script, and edit the video in Cyberlink PowerDirector 14.

This turned out amazing! I need to study drawing cats. I haven't been able to get it quite right yet. We just sent one of our boys over the rainbow bridge this past weekend. He was my little momma's boy, I miss him terribly. I would love to draw a portrait of him someday. He held a super special place in my heart.
@@melsgalleria I’m so sorry for the loss of your special kitty boy! Doing a portrait of him might be good for your healing, even if it’s not quite right to you.
@@ILoveToDrawCats Thank you, I think so too. He was very special and it was very unexpected. He also died at a fairly young age. So it was super hard on us all.
