I previously believed that all investors experienced financial ruin during economic downturns, but i now realize that some of them actually make a fortune. In summary, while some people face recessions, others seize profitable opportunities, and it all begins with having the correct mindset. As a result, I have allocated some of my savings for future investments. Regrettably, I lack experience in this area.
I bought more Tesla, NVDA and a new position in SNPS (Chip maker) yesterday. While the VIX is below 20 we are not in a bear market and I am not worried.
I’m from Hungary and it is probably not the most relevant market as the country is small and people don’t earn enough to allow themselves Tesla purchases. Still over the passed year the model 3s are popping up all over. I wouldn’t say BMW couldn’t have outsold Tesla but momentum seems to be on Tesla side clearly. German brands have been popular here since forever, and Tesla just an extreme rare sight even in the capitol prior to this year.

According to my Schwab account about news of Tesla, GM is partnering with Uber to run autonomous GM vehicles on the Uber network. To my knowledge, GM does not have any self-driving capability but who knows? In the meantime, I added a few Tesla shares to my holdings.
