Summary for historians: Napoleon Was ready to March through the Country of Russia, However The Russians have a plan to Let napoleons Army to the Cold Country. However While napoleon was barging trough the Russian armies, he didn't know it was the Russians plan (somewhat). The Russians Decided to Burn there homes and city so that napoleons plan (to scavenge the country side) would fail while marching through the Cold climate. At This point Napoleon did invaded the Russian city but the City was in ruin (or torn down). Napoleon had no choice but to go back home, BUT this was Another Russians plan. They push napoleons army back to his country, shooting and ambushing Napoleons army to shreds. Sadly Napoleons Military technique was literally failing and Lost Thousands (or millions) infantry to the cold grounds. I just want to say this because I love this show and the cartoon.
OK so what if it's not War and Peace? But you have to admit you don't see too many cartoons whose theme is Napoleon's 1812 invasion of Russia, give it a nice cohesive epic feel. And you can't say Krazy wasn't up to it.
I remember my Mom singing that You're In The Army Now song to me when I was real young.
I remember watching this in the 1960's when i was a kid, long time forgotten cartoon brought back memories!!
2:31 TCF drum
Sax solo after 5:35.
Possibly influenced by Abel Gance's monumental Napoleon (1927).
