I have decades of history of making friends (just friendships) with women who aren't bad people and are generous and funny but they expect me to be available when it suits them, we do what they want to do, go where they want to go, they're late, et cetera. If I try to change the dynamic it doesn't really work. By the way, I would never have a relationship with somebody who expected me to take my place as their underling now. But I have old friendships spanning decades and even at school, I made friends with women who were just like slightly the boss of me. I don't want to totally walk away. So I'm trying to redraw the lines a bit but that sure is hard.
And asking the question the other way around gives us back the power and takes us outta victim mode! 😄 wow I wrote that after she only said the question right after the title.
Wow! How do we make it that healthy people give us butterflies and chemistry? By practicing the new feeling of healthy? I would journal how it should feel and read it out daily in the mirror. Especially, how it should feel when the other person is mad, agitated, etc.
I have love to the highest degree. I love myself, I love my children and have love from my family. I am overwhelming grateful for my fortune. The love of my life, my soul mate, my life partner is arriving and I accept him with an open and loving heart ❣
