This woman is definitely not a victim. She saw a financial opportunity in this man, and she jumped on it. She saw the red flags early on, she didn't give a damn because he started paying all the bills, while promising her all these materialistic things and she was enjoying it. Once he got tired of her mess, he moved on, and she was right back to where she started. She was pissed about it. She figured on a financial aspect to use her social media platform to put her sob story out there, garner some sympathy by making people believe that she was this insecure and naive woman who was emotionally abused by her ex-husband. I kept saying to myself when I saw the GMA interview "why would you invite someone to live with you that you just met?" As you said, she is not a victim. As people in general we have to be very mindful about who we defend. Some don't want to be saved instead they want the attention from multiple angles (i.e. the person their having the problem with, the public, social media to broadcast it louder, etc.) as PBL basically stated.

PBL, I was looking for ANYONE to have this take. The TRUTH. When i saw the intro video she made meant to advertise this story, Immediately said, “there is no way. She’s lying.” It was because the story was so wild. i did watch, on 2X speed, while I had the flu, so I lost no time in this … I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
PBL, you are absolutely right. She was playin him and she loved that money and this story only revealed what price she willingly sold her soul and morals for. This has to be one of the biggest victimization story flips we’ve seen in some time. She really got over on a lot of people.
This woman found out early on that she and Legion matched on 2 different platforms but he had a different name on each platform. This is not a “red flag”. This is plain evidence of a scammer. She said that they met on two dating apps and he said they met at the Cheesecake factory, which leaves me to believe that his mind was on the viral cheesecake factory date. They are both lying! Legion don't look like he's a professional anything, let alone having great credit score to purchase a house. She said he was talking about paying cash for the house and taking her to shop for luxury cars, but he was saying that he wanted to get her credit up for the house but eneded up purchasing her a low "value" car! Her story was interesting but I think what captured everyone’s attention was more trauma bonding . From the beginning you can tell she led with how much money he had even before they got married . I started dating my husband a couple of months merrier the pandemic , we met online as well . But when I tell you I would not be moving no stranger into my house because that’s what he was . We both stayed on our houses and dated for 4 years , then we married . She intentionally overlooked his lies because of the potential material things he could offer her and he was already paying her bills . If she would have had her stuff together before him she would not have put herself in that situation much less have him move in and get pregnant by him all within 6 months .

I listened to her mini series and then to her ex husband's interview. I found it strange how his story sounded so familiar to a lot of single men I know. They meet a woman on a dating app. And as soon as that woman feels like they have money to spend on them, they are ALL IN. Nobody in their right mind would marry someone so quick after barely knowing them unless they had an agenda from the beginning. One thing she said that was a red flag to me about her story was, "It was intoxicating to be with a man who could pay all my bills!" And then she went on to say how she didn't have to worry about how she was going to pay her bills. Another red flag to me was when she said, Her job wouldn't let her work from home because she was a slacker. Watching Netflix videos and not doing her work. There were a lot of little things she said about HERSELF, that made me be like, hmmmm. You appear to be lazy! But her ex husband said, she wasn't good with her finances, her credit was bad, and he was trying to help her get her finances up to par. That to me sounded realistic. Her story made me pause several times and wonder if those things really happened. He also stated in his interview, that they have been divorced for quite some time. So why would she all of a sudden put out this series to the entire world. I just wish we could verify who's telling the truth and who is lying. Either way, she's definitely getting clout and "fame" behind her story.

I’ve been saying this the entire time. And “standing in your truth” doesn’t make you noble, it makes you aware. She was a co-conspirator. Especially when she said she HELPED THE MAN LIE!!!!!!! We all lie. She threw bleach on those red flags because she wanted security and to live out that fantasy. She did NOT hold herself accountable. And she went LOOKING for lies so that she DIDN’T look stupid. She said he paid every bill, went all out for her birthday and Valentine’s Day, never verbally or physically abused her. I can’t even talk about this woman to other women because they done trauma bonded with this lady because we’ve all been lied to. She wasn’t mad at this man for lying to her because she knew who he was. He SHOWED her and she helped him. He didn’t FORCE her into anything. She was mad at herself. I’m over this whole victim tour. She is NOT a victim. She was in on it without admitting to it. And yes, the money was the motive. And then she done resurfaced this thing 4 years later, for what?!

While I understand this standpoint, if you looked at all of her videos you’d see she experienced very intense love bombing. If you haven’t been through it, you won’t really understand how swept up you get emotionally.

I didn’t think she was a victim, who would move a person into their home after only a short time knowing them and opening themselves to diseases and potentially death by this stranger.
