Yeah I think we were definitely robbed of a truly competitive season after Ken’s unfortunate passing. The Hoonigan documentary about their season was pretty good too and it’s clear that Ken wanted to win the title bad and was one mistake away from winning last season. I think we’d all like to see Brandon and Ken duke it out this year and maybe even Pastrana would still be racing.
Semenuk is brilliant and the Semenuk/Williams team is dominating! Really sad that there not out there racing with Block. Would have been a thrilling rally season.
unbelievable, Brandon Semenuk and Keaton Willians are amazing. Man...When up there on the top three back in the older seasons even just a few episodes seeing Semenuk, Ken Block, and Berry McKenna fighting for the seconds that made my heart race. Block you're missed by many.
I miss car #75 Higgins / Drew but glad to see the newer guys on the S.R.T. picking it up. Watching these videos while at work on break is entertaining.
I bet nobody there to race was aware the maintenance area at the Shelton Airport is the model airplane field. That closed runway is normally home to the Sanderson RC flyers, no flying that weekend!
These roads are very clear and well maintained.quite easy to complete all stages.but in india specially in Himalayan rigen.roads are fully tough..not in equal shapes.most dangerous roads.which is not so easy.its can be s joke.i think every person who belongs to himachal,jammu,assam,magjalya etc.best driver.if u ever come to india.then travel in roadways buses.those came from hogh altitude.you will explore more then these rallies.i often thought that im a good race driver.but once i got a chance to travel in state bus route (rampur (kinnour) to haridwar(u.p). The driver was driving best and safe.but extreme speed with best control.that fellow tights my air ful tights .my eyes were in extra wide on the road in night.but best driving.if you ever comes here.then enjoy the excitement
The sti is strictly out classing everyone else in America i don't think it really matters whos behind the wheel as long as they know what they are doing the Subaru is going to win
ve had my subaru 2017 wrx since it had 4400 miles on it. Love that thing but had the tranny go on it at 22,000 miles. also yes i know how to drive a manual im 36 years old and have had 14 cars 9 of those manual. When i brought it to the shop they said i wasint under warranty bc they said it had signs of abuse $3200 later....Down the road as of now after they "fixed it" the car is back in the shop waiting to see what they say now at 30,000 miles. thinking about selling the thing now since this keeps happing and the bad taste of they Not honoring thier warranty
I’m 6 months late, but unfortunately the wrx transmissions are glass, and if you launch them to much then they’re toast regardless of how well you can shift, I recommend an sti trans swap they have bigger more durable gears, I have a 2020 wrx, that is coming up on 30k miles, got it at 18k, I’ve launched it a couple times for funsies, accidentally money shifted from 5 to 2 instead of 4th when I was still learning, and so far so good, idk man there’s so many factors tgat go into how long parts last at the end of the day, such as distance, air temp etc

I recently read that Subaru might come back to wrc unless Toyota might help them in developing an engine. Toyota owns a stake in Subaru btw. Subaru quit wrc because of the 2008 recession. They hadn't come back since then. Only participated in american rally
Ignorant newbie here : The co-driver has notes. Where do the notes come from? Do they get an "official" print out, or do they get to run the course and make their own individual notes? 🤔
They are made during what is called the "recce." This next video explains it. Basically, two days before the rally, they drive every stage two times each. The first time, the driver tells the co-driver what notes to write in the book. God I wish the new WRX wasn’t so hideous, or at least had a trim you could buy that looked more rally-ready. I want one SO badly but i don’t have the time or knowledge to kit it out with a new body.
