Great video. Reminds me of my recent trip to India for a sanitation project. I'm glad you had an awesome time!

Hey I’m planning on volunteering on the Big 5 program, is African impact really safe and legitimate? My family and friends all worried and thinking I’m doing something reckless. Thank you in advance

Yes! My family thought the same originally, and that lead to my mother researching a list of Canadian-approved volunteer organizations. African Impact being the one I went for, it’s still been the best travel experience if my life! Could not recommend them more highly.

How much did the weekend safari you took cost?

Sam Bosque If I remember correctly it was under $500 USD at the time.

Kindly advise if all of the volunteers from African Impact are Caucasian when you were there?

The World Around Sha, If I remember correctly, there was a girl from India the week before I arrived and my roommate was actually Indian via Iceland. But yes the majority of the volunteers were Caucasian from Europe and Australia.

Hi Patrick! Hope you’ve been doing well since your time with us in Zanzibar! 😊 We are putting together a huge video campaign for the end of the year where we want to feature ONLY footage taken by our past volunteers - we’d love to use some parts of your video! If you’d like to be involved (please say yes!), could you please WeTransfer.com your video (or ANY video clips you have!!) to marketing@africanimpact.com. Thank you SO much Patrick and hope to hear from you very soon! The African Impact Team

Noa leché I believe Zanzibar has both teaching and Dolphin projects still. And if I remember correctly, you can do both during your stay.
