Nah I think he just like goes out of his way to try stuff ingame. I've been trying out different career paths, personality traits, worlds, and clothing styles in cas and it's been fun! I recommend it, it's fun going out of your comfort zone sometimes!!
Played this game for years but never miss a Petey Guide video because EVERY video has at least 1 "WTF? I didn't know that.." moment. For instance I used to waste satisfaction points to buy instalean when my sims inevitably got fat and Petey was like "diet Ice Cream!" This time around it's the Computer Glases
I know right! For me this time it was the rewards for reaching the top of the extra curricular activities at university. We each have our interest drawn by different things and miss others. I love that we have Petey to point them all out!
I only bought the cool kitchen pack AFTER he told us about Diet Ice Cream. It's better than using satisfaction points because you can slim your Sim down to the weight you want instead of inadvertently making Skeletor
I've been electrocuted so many times on the Robotics station that I no longer feel a shred of guilt when I SHIFT click to cheat parts 😌 It takes too long to make them 😅 I'm now going to run and explore the engineer career. I had no idea there was so much more to the Robotics station! Thanks Petey!
I like the positivity in these videos. They are great to appreciate everything already in the game. Now I want to play another university student. I had no idea about the existence of experimental motivators. I will try those and the utility robots in my game.
I always make sure to add some Research machines to every library. Just to have something else to do in libaries outside of books and computers. Man, I tend to go for Computer Engineer instead of Mechanical because I knew the glasses but not the exo-mech suit!
So THAT'S what that littke black capsule is😭! Its been sitting on my sims fireplace next to here desk because i saw it said it helped with study. I thought it made like an aura being in an area of sims to help with studying. No wonder why it never worked🤦🏽♀️it was completely being used wrong lol. And also the soccer ball is just absolutely great, its so helpful when sims put on too much weight so fast. The higher the fitness skill is(doesnt have to be crazy high, but around 3 or 4 level) the fast your sim will lose that weight. Its awesome.
One of the fun things about the research machine is that if you're actively enrolled in college, you can research campus urban legends or even the secret society for a bit of lore. Not useful for much but still kinda fun! Oh, and a fun way to get the parts necessary for robotics is to take your robotics station to the Utili-Bot contest and dismantle other people's bots for the parts. I learned this for James Turner's Every Occult Challenge videos.
Thank you, Petey. I am amazed every time you make a video on the stuff that I didn't know about this game. Thank you for sharing, and thank you for your Informative videos.🎉❤
I love your videos as I always learn something new and I'm thoroughly entertained at the same time. I look for all the various recipes on the gallery i.e. nectar, paintings, cross stitch etc. The stuff we can make ourselves, but the only one I've come to trust is you. I was hoping you could do a series of them. Do them in parts like the small cross stitch hoops then the medium and finally the large as three separate videos. I know you said that the paintings one was hard going, this way you can help us and not have the boredom of doing them all in one go.
Bronwyn :). I can totally look into making all of the cross stiches to then upload to the gallery! :) That sounds like it would be really cool! I'm not sure if I could stretch it to three videos but definitely could be one, done in a similar way to the paintings one. Thanks so much for the great suggestion.
@@PeteyPlaysIt No problem, I thought I'd float the multiple videos as a suggestion as you said that doing all the paintings was hard or something similar. Thank you for considering it :)
It's fun seeing others see or find out more stuff in the game and it's packs!! I already am getting into trying out other things ingame like the careers, worlds, traits, and fashion styles when styling sims since I can't get CC on my Xbox for the styles I want!! While it's made me appreciate the game a bit more, it's made me also wish the team tried/fought a little more to add more stuff to the game, especially for black sims because there is NOT enough creative hairstyles, let alone for curly and coily hair!
I would've bought this way sooner if I knew about the computer glasses, exo-mech suit, and that you can make even more than just servos in the robotics workstation.
I'm divided on whether I actually want University or not. Sure, it sounds fun, but it also sounds like it cuts out the fun of adult careers by skipping promotions. Also, I generally got tired of sending my sims to class about halfway through actually getting a degree in Sims 2, so ... but then again, that soccer ball is very tempting.
@@slwrabbits If I remember correctly, the job listing will be in there twice - (which pops up first) one further up in the career and the second one further down in the list starting your Sim at lvl. 1. Plenty of simmers thought it was a glitch at first.
Here's some ideas to make life for your sims easier- 1. A retail store that sells meals. If youre playing a rich family and eveyone has a cooking skill of 0 and lower (and the butler is too buggy) you can make a retail shop that sells full meals and they can eat all the high skilled cooking they want and 2. A retail store that sells upgraded appliances. Your sims will no longer need to up their handiness skill because they can buy an object thats already upgraded
At this point I'm convinced Petey plays a different game to the rest of us. Thanks for the new ideas again!

Literally same 😅 I've had the game since launch and I just found out about it. And the soccer ball omfg I use it all the time now
I love that with this expansion we can become half a Robocop with the techsuits we can make. It's one of my favourite features of this pack.
I just realized the animation for using the mold removal bomb in For Rent is the exact same as the animation for using an Experimental Motivator
Omg that didn't even hit me until you mentioned that now... you're totally right!

I put the research machine in every library and the ping pong table in every bar where it'll fit, more activities on community lots is always good

Thank you so much Oddcreature! I appreciate you being an all around legend and all the kind words :).
Just the info I needed. Thanks Petey, you help us get the most out of this game. Been loving watching you over at Twitch, its been fun!
Thank you so much for the super kind words Leah, I really appreciate it :).
Exo Mech Suit I have NEVER seen or heard of that!
My first thought when I saw the computer classes was: Tony Stark?!?!! And then I saw the suits and I was like- IRON MAN?!???!!
So much I didn't know about the robotics skill! Thanks Petey!
love the university pack! but this makes it even better 🙂 thanks for the tips! keep them coming 🙂
Hi Petey! I hope you’re having an amazing weekend! Thanks for another informative and helpful video.
Thanks so much Kmraz!! I hope you're having an amazing week and have an incredible weekend as well :).

🎉🎉🎉❤❤😂yes ,I agree I'm on Xbox to
I always learn something useful on this channel
Congrats on 75k! 3 quarters to 100k!!
Thank you Rosalie!!
Love these look back videos to old expansion packs! ❤
Great video but I'm still super excited for the next super sim video whenever you finish making it
This
ainnnoway the sims never marketed this pack as becoming iron man
I have Discover University pack but didn't even know almost all these. Thanks a lot. Petey :D
Great video as always
Thanks for the kind words Mira :)
The Exomech Suit reminds me of Isaac Clarke (who's from another EA game, so that makes sense)
I would've bought this way sooner if I knew about the computer glasses, exo-mech suit, and that you can make even more than just servos in the robotics workstation.
“And no, it’s not because I’m of Italian ethnicity” 😂😂
Your muscular guy sims got me feeling❤❤❤ especially the blonde one 😳
Anither note on seed shaped gems is that they can and often are fishable objects... I have grown gem trees before getting gemology level 1
Huh???.. I've played and haven't seen the glasses just the robotic arm and building a robot.
glasses is only if you're in the Computer Science branch of engineer (the suit + helmet is in the other branch)
Wow I didn’t know about half of these and I’ve had the pack for at least 2 years lol
When is your next super Sim video? We need to see that iconic Tina
❤
Amen
Coming very very soon! Sorry they take a while to make!
The soccer ball is my favorite Sim exercise.
looovee this pack and it's objects
here before it goes viral
Thanks, maybe a give one more chance to this pack.
Can you make a guide about juice fizzing
It's absolutely on my list, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll get to it eventually :).
Can you gift utili-bots, cleaner-bots and party-bots etc to other sims outside your household??
You can gift most things to sims outside your household and it will actually go into their inventory!
Snowy scape and eco lifestyle objects
Father winter gave me a soccer ball, best gift of all time
How do you stay in the secret society after graduating
You can't just as the extracurriculars it doesn't work outside of school or on this case university
I wish the robot workstation as base game it is my favorite things in the entire game
Ripping my skin off waiting for the next instalment of super Sim
Ditto

Nah. The most important stuff from university DLC is the robot. Both the servo and other bots and also the ironman suit

I'm pretty sure you can still start at the bottom of the career even if you go to university.
@@destinydunbar1614 It gives you that option? Dang, now I know what pack I'm buying next.
