When I discovered Japanese Rock/Metal 6 years ago, only Babymetal and Band Maid toured in the west. Now so many Japanese bands now are getting play and are quickly going on tour outside of Japan. Running like hell to keep up, but it is fun.
Thanks so much for this amazing interview!!! I saw them in Melbourne and am still buzzing. They're all great, but Yukina's stage presence is just mind blowing and savage. Love hearing them talk about their music. They're all so soft spoken, you'd never suspect they could set the stage on fire like that.
Btw they posted videos from the recent recording sessions and just judging by the duration of Yukina's screams for the new track it's gonna go hard af... I absolutely did not expect it to be Akihabara-themed, but then again it's freaking Hanabie, they can probably do a deathcore track about overusing your toothpaste...
6:29 She said hajimemashite instead of osaki ni shiturei shimasu because it's also a common greeting. Chika was trying so hard not to laugh afterwards. I mean, she was probably laughing like crazy when her face "accidently" went out of the frame though.
The translator screwed up a bit there. The hajimemashite was used in the context of "there will be a lot of people who see us for the first time". Even though they might not understand English perfectly they still understood what was happening 😅
Yeah I thought, what?! a song I haven't heard yet, awesome! A bit disappointed but I'm sure they'll be releasing something soon. Their songwriting is just getting better and better.
Little tip for next time but I think when you're going to interview the whole band with such a language barrier I'd say the best way to go about asking questions is to actually direct them to individual members so they all get to say their piece and you have new/different perspectives than other interviews might get. Love that you asked them some questions about BM though,, kudos for that. :D
Bummer they won't get to experience much Summer, looks like rain in Sydney for Saturday. What are you trying to do recommending VB, turn them off beer for good? At least you steered them away from XXXX - they can't even spell beer.
They should have stopped me and corrected me but they didn’t. I’m in Australia and the band are fairly new to us here, I’m sure they are bound to find this for a little while as they grow internationally. These interviews can be difficult due to the language barrier and we sometimes don’t have a lot of time to prep, so chill out, enjoy the interview and their music and cut people new to the band a bit of slack until it catches on. Cheers
@@smeeegss7697 no worries, I’ve just had a couple of people already have a go at me about it but everyone needs to understand that the rest of the world like me are new to them and need to catch up.

Amazing interview! Thank you so much! Reaction to making new song was hilarious! Chika's face at 21:36 the best😂
Thanks!
Poor Hettsu. Barely said a word. Just sat there looking completely adorable ❤
She did talk about beer 🍺
She does that well, although it was funny when she was asked what happened to her leg in another video I saw.

@@Someguy66-i6s clearly the solution here is that they need to write a song called "hajimemashite"
Matsuri writing down beer brands killed me xD
Also "your room is so cool" lol
thank you for the interview
If Hanabie could do a world tour with Babymetal, lovebites and Unlucky Morpheus that would be great 😆
P.s. that shane guy sounds pretty cool

❤❤
An interview of my consecrated queens almost slipped under my radar, but not quite, not quite.
It wasn't translated, but Matsuri said that Babymetal had said they were interested in HANABIE before. Does anyone know the details?
Now that would be awesome.
Considering how Momo-Metal growls during Metali, I wouldn't be surprised if she's a fan.
Love my girls hanabie so awesome to see with limp bizkit
Hanabie Best Band Ever 🔥🤘😎🤘🔥
ヘッツ、何もしゃべんないかと思ったら、ビールの話題には噛みついたね :)

❤️🔥Hettsu❤️🔥
Matsuri looks really hot ♨️💯😍
And Yukina looks adorable with glasses. 😎
@AZUCHIGREY and Hettsu is always cute 🤗🥰
saying hanbie wrong. they stated how to say it in a show and stopped it for like couple seconds when people kept saying it wrong lol
