Thanks for sharing your way to replace a sky - best solution for me after watching several videos. For a affinity beginner a "little" too fast ;-) Anyways, you did a great job, looking forward to your other tutorials to help affinity users! Thanks again for the time you spend here. TOP.
Thank you so much for watching and I am glad that you liked the tutorial, sorry that it was a little to fast. some thing I will keep in mind. Thanks for your support
I use Luminar also to add in skies, then I edit in Affinity afterwards. This video is forcing me to try it all in Affinity. Really great walk-through, thanks VERY much. I know I'm lazy......really do, but I'd buy a macro from you of this process.
Hi Jay thanks for the great comment, I have never used Luminar but I have seen what it can do and it looks amazing. It will be interesting to see what you think once you give it a try,But I can see why Luminar is appealing for ease of use. 🙏
Hi Behram firstly thanks for watching and commenting much appreciated. Yes trees are a little more difficult, but it can be done. There are quite a few tutorials on how to do this, here are just a few for you to take a look at ua-cam.com/video/n2cucrtUFWE/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/8qnxSityDyw/v-deo.html. I hope these will help you Behram and there a lots more on UA-cam as well. All the best
It is a lot easier using the Affinity Macro, which was made by James Ritson in the original Affinity series. Now still availible on the legacy site called the Uplift Epic Skies.Your method works well but the macro does it all for you, plus you get a selection of up lift sky overlays.

I have seen Luminar in action and it looks amazing, maybe one day I will be able to buy it. Thanks for watching 🙏🏼 You have some great tutorials on your channel too
Certainly you did a great job. But, the lack of telling me “why” you did each step did not help me do this on my own photos. A bit of a pause between steps would help me absorb what I just saw.
Hi Edward thanks for watching, is there something pacifically that you would like explained a little more ? let me know and I will try my best to help you. I do have to keep the Video's to a certain time so I know they do go as little fast at times. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment 🙏🏼

It is all very well if the sky is behind solid buildings. What dod you do, if the skyline is complicated with trees and stuff?

The replacement edit is good and whenever I try to replace sky, I use Luminar and that's making me lazy to do it on affinity, 😂
