Mark of a really good track is when other artists go at it adding their own flavor and sauce. Mitis killed it with SL mix and has . Mbeen my goto happy place for few months now. It just makes me feel good. Love that this version is so mechanically different that it leaves you with its very own emotional tone. Melodic tone complimented by a rugged and aggressive drop works but only because that drop isn't overwhelming or focal point. I dig it.

@@CultureCodeMusic the thanks seriously belongs to you. I've let this play a handful of times over last 24 through various sound setups. Listened through some really nice over ear head phones (my favorite way to really feel a song), through my house system, and in my Lincoln. It was in my truck when the lightbulb went off. Id listened to it now at least a dozen times, letting myself get takin in by it. It's your take on a song I've really loved since being dropped... but not once while listening did I think of original. The fact I keep playing it should clearly tell you how much I've enjoyed it.
What Ive really come to tell you though is this. I recognize the amount of work it must of taken to do this at such a high level. Chord progression, progressive crescendo with trance like undertone, into a fluid drop that doesn't drown out the rhythm of the track. Your attention to detail, not just stacking loop after loop, but truly engineering the notes to be perfectly pitch. Well, that's the same level and attention to detail that got me hooked on 7L way back when. It's what's continually impressed me over the last decade during his evolution and those he colab with. It's what sets Ophelia apart from the masses in my opinion. This mix fits at the same table if only for the absolute level of execution. Additionally, I enjoy the hell outta it and the feeling I'm left with.

At the beginning i asked myself ''why would you remix this song?''. Well, that's the reason. I don't have the impression to listen to another because the melodic vibe is still here, which i like, and i think it gets the emotion out of the song more than the original. Really looking forward to what Culture Code makes next because of this remix and their last song!
