Great episode! More Ford plants pls. Ranger plant in Wayne, MI?
Great video. Really an awesome process. My next truck will be a Ford. I was under a time crunch and strapped for cash when I bought my Silverado at CarMax. The engine was good to me, but the rest of the truck just fell apart. And, those darn electrical issues.😥
My 1999 Ford F150 XLT is still going strong. Best purchase i ever made. Haven't had a car payment in 15 years.
Amen to that!
Mileage?
You will with 90s shitbox
My 99 does not even have a FRONT AXLE...its a uni body design...you can not haul much in the dang thing, you just drive it around for show and thats with a club cab and a long bed...NOT what ford used to make...it sounds like its time to start reducing pay of execs, getting rid of unions
Same 99' Lariat 4x4 I've never financed a vehicle and never will.
That is where I work baby 💪
DonnaSean you still making videos??
Thank you for doing america such a great honor. keep them going keep them selling
Love the videos Donna
that is where my baby was born...9 years ago. Almost ready to get a new one :)
Thanks for building my truck.
My '04 FX4 just turned 227.000 miles.Would I like a new one? Absolutely......Can I afford a new one? Absolutely not.
Yea u can. F150s are 20yrs trucks solid investments.
@@davidklimmek3192 Im in the market, 27k budget.. That doesnt buy jack shit in the full size truck market. Not a fx4, unless it's got 100K miles.
Nissan has the best value so far.
Jonathan M by “best value”, you mean Nissan is the cheapest? I’d never buy one of their shitty ass vehicles.
@@jonathanm1854 Why not just get a regular 4x4 instead of the fx4 package?
My dad sold his ‘04 fx4 for a ford focus ST. We do look to get a ranger soon, affordable and sexy.
I’ve had fords my whole life. From when I was a kid to now. My mom currently drives a 2016 Fusion with the 2.0 Ecoboost 178,000 miles no previous or current issues. My dad has a 2017 f-150 79,000 miles once again no previous or current issues. And I have a 1965 f-100 with 69,000 miles no issues and a 1996 bronco 201,000 miles. NO ISSUES Ford has a spot in my heart and will always remain there
Same here. Ford actually has most loyal customers for good reason! All we buy is Ford trucks/SUVs & Lincoln cars/SUVs!
@Paul Wright yea ok when Chevy updates it's 15yr old engines get back to us. Never approach Ford F-series quality. I really don't hate on Chevy tho. I hate on asian ricers as should you . that's the true enemy.
jackson pitcher - I feel EXACTLY the same - if it isn't a Ford - I don't want it - don't want to even LOOK at it. Other vehicles cannot compare.
@Paul Wright Nah ur welcome I'm really all about American trucks & SUVs! I prefer Ford F150 Explorer Expedition ..but would drive proudly a new Chevy/GMC or RAM over ANY foreign "2nd tier" truck junk. Have a nice nite!
Yep and i saw a study where they found that the ford f-150 is the most heavly abused vehicle there is and they still go 300,000+ miles!
My 2017 was built at Kansas City plant, I want to thank all the men and women that build F150’s, I’m 56 and it’s a long time dream come true! Never have I liked a vehicle more, my truck just makes me happy to drive and look at! 2 years single problem or rattle!
mine was assembled in kansas city also
Too bad Furds are junk
The F-150 are the greatest truck in the land with best in class everything. these trucks have WAY more people who like them than not and these people are amazing and have the incredible honor to build f-series pickup trucks people must be thinking wow. when you tell them that you build these, and Poppy Neese You made the right choice.
@@ramtrucks721 That is *your* own *opinion* . Do something productive with your life, rather than waste time spreading negativity.
@@forevergreenlandscapeslawn9261 Ford is the fastest depreciating manufacturer in north America. You got lucky. They are the cheapest built, number 1 in sales because they make the cheapest products for fleets and government sales. That's why Ford sells more. Cheaply made.
Sneak a v8 into a raptor
whiteandnerdytuba lmao
Why?
TED Schmitt so you aren’t stuck with a truck as sexy as a raptor with the sound of a honda. It’s like having sex with a beautiful woman only for her to sound like a man
whiteandnerdytuba but you have to admit that the twin turbo v6 in the raptor is impressive. 450 hp and over 500 ft lb of torque
memo12310 I like the engine. It’s just that for the power, I cant scarifice that sound. turbos make good torque but the old 6.2 can make 450 with just a tune. ford drops in the 7.3 and ill buy my blue on blue raptor today
I just bought a Platinum and have to say I'm beyond impressed with the fit and finish of this truck. It's beyond top notch. The quality of the design, materials and assembly has blown me away. I couldn't be happier with the truck.
I'm from Kansas City, I think it's so cool that my truck was built here in my hometown!
Just because it was assembled in the USA dont mean it's American made. It is assembled with mostly foreign parts.
Cheapest assembled too. That is why they depreciate the fastest. Cheap.

You can be proud of that!👍
@@budskrilla2u133 you must have a lot of time on your hands
Yeah but so was Bob Berdella........
Just bought a new 2019 F-150 in Magma Red and I absolutely love it. Thanks to the men and women who built it .
I just recently sold my F150 and I can't say I really miss all that much. But I upgraded to an F250 so that might be why. I love Ford trucks and own a few of them. Awesome tour, thank you for sharing.
Just bought a 2019 f150! Great product, love it.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Good for you love my f150s
You love it for now...
Henry Ford would be proud. I love my Roush F150 Supercharged truck. Thanks guys for all your hard work.
Indeed he would! -Justin
We went to the Dearborn factory in 2015 and I was amazed how they are built. Major tourist trap though, a lot of machines constantly moving , forktruck drivers zooming around. Stay out of the two lines on the floor or your bumper bait. Seen the back up of production, (bells going - people yelling - kaos fixed in seconds) .
Watched some sweet jobs , like putting on tailgate straps , final drive away , headliners. Everyone worked like fine tuned machines , thank you Ford employees for making the number one selling trucks. Had five new ones since 2013 , they are beauties, but I still miss my 78 f 100.👍 👍 🇨🇦
My 1999 F350 7.3 is truly BUILD FORD TOUGH!
I absolutely love my ‘11 F-150 with the 5.0. I was a Chevy guy before but I have since changed my mind and I’m gonna be a ford truck owner for the rest of my life!
Original 1st Gen Raptor Supercrew 2011 owner... LOVE MY RAPTOR... LOVE MY FORD... Thanks for doing this video!!!!
Furds are junk
@@ramtrucks721 fuck you and ur dodge, ford is the best there is just go ahead and admit it
RAM TRUCKS Fords are way more reliable and safer than your dodge. P.S why are you watching a Ford video anyway? Are you just here to dislike it?
@@ramtrucks721 7-8th comment now.
I have a 2018 and I love it. Great Gas Mileage. Extremely fast for a truck and all the needs you would have for a vehicle are all in my F150 .
As a 2019 f150 owner. This was really cool to see.
Really cool to see how most of these people fake taking pride in their jobs and how most of these trucks will go back to dealerships defective
@@campbell0162 So true Ford is only king recalls...
I bought a brand new 2020 F-150 velocity blue extended cab STX that was assembled at Kansas City plant. It’s a beautiful truck!
Stx is by far the best looking trim level in my opinion. Especially with the supercab just slap on a set of aftermarket leds and tint the windows, and it is the best looking truck ever made
I had a 2014 F 150 , great truck, and now I drive a 2018 F-150. I love the fuel economy on he 2.7 litre turbo. Great trucks.
You will be replacing the transmission at about 70,000 miles.
Ford is junk

I have loved my Ford F150 from day one! I still drive it everyday!
Yates looks like he’s worked midnights for 40 years. His introduction was like “alright relax it’s not that exciting” 😂😂
I worked at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana building the Highlander. I was in underbody weld and was amazed at how that plant ran every day. We built about 1500-2000 units every day, our Sequoia line would only produce about 60-70. Coming from working at Toyota, and driving Fords I would only drive the two, Ford trucks and Toyota cars (except for the Tacoma which is awesome).
@T38 Talon 2 lines building for domestic and international.
Great video, didn't realize how many trucks roll off the assembly line each day, completely amazing. My 2013 steel bodied Platinum 5.0 with 100k still going strong with zero issues whatsoever...nicest and smoothest truck I've owned. Thanks Ford for a great truck.
Thanks Frank! -Justin
Love my 18 XLT SPORT SCREW
Shout out from Northern British Columbia, im on my third f150 now! First one bought was a 95, then 2011 now a 2019. Everyone of them is a great truck! Have them all still. Only 89,000 KM on the 95.
Awesome! Really enjoyed this video. Neat to see these beautiful trucks being assembled 👍🏻
Great job on the video guys
Damn, I wanted to see the paint process. :(
Cool to see where my 2018 F150 came from!
God bless America!
God bless China they have assembly plants like this one on every street corner 😂
First inside video I’ve seen where they actually tell you what they are doing 👍
Just picked up a Raptor, huge and solid. Expensive yes, but full size trucks are really a solid value given their capability.
I really enjoyed watching this video tour of the F150 factory plant! thanks so much for taking us along! My dad worked at the Ford plant years ago. I am so proud of this truck!
Nice review! Thanks! FORD F150- The BEST!
Our pleasure! -Justin
@@americantrucks Thanks for your attention! Ford brand fans are looking forward to new models!...especially the new Bronco/Baby Bronco and the new F150!
I've got a 2016 Lariat 3.5L Ecoboost with just over 11,000 miles. My profile pic is me sitting in it. My local dealer tried to get me to trade it in for a new one earlier this year claiming that mine had a high desirability factor, and I was like "yeah, that's why I still wish to keep it." I've done several exterior cosmetic modifications that are special to me, and I'm not about to give up the truck that quick. Besides, I'm handicapped and require special controls so switching vehicles isn't an easy thing to do. I kept my last vehicle for 16 years and only put 40,000 miles on it.
Ford Trucks the best Never rest
I think the issue with Ford is that when you get a solid built one, then it will last you forever, but there are a lot that come off the line with issues. Quality is one thing, consistency is another. Toyota just blows their competition out of the water when it comes to quality, but of the American manufacturers, I have to say Ford is my favorite considering some bad experiences with the likes of GM and Chrysler.
I agree. But to say that toyota makes quality cars is an overstatement. They make reliable, dependable cars. Nothing about stepping into a recently made corolla shouts quality.
Taylor Persinger perhaps our idea of quality is different. I admit that I wouldn’t pick a Toyota for luxury, I will say that the way some Toyota products are equipped is questionable, such as a key start on a 35000 dollar Camry. But Toyota has a “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” attitude, and that seems to serve them well. I’ve driven or owned numerous Toyota’s over time and the amount of parts they reuse is amazing, such as the window adjust switch for example, I’ve seen them in ones as old as 2001 to the brand new Camry.
@@nickakers7985 They also share with Lexus. My Lexus GS 350 Sedan has a trans from the Tundra now the Tacomas have the 3.5L engine from the Sedan. Ford also copied their dual injector technology for their direct injection engines. Lexus had it in 2005.
11:40 I was like “JUSTIN!!! WATCH OUT FOR THAT TRUCK!!!” Lol then I realized it was an assembly line
I got one basic model 2018 and raptor would be my next
Would love to see you go back and do a start-to-finish with a Raptor. Great video!
I love my ‘16 XLT with 2.7L. It’s a luxury vehicle and truck in one
Hey, there's my truck,
In the dumpster where it belongs
RAM TRUCKS someone’s salty their trucks would crumble from a leaf hitting it.

@@austincartwright1870 yeah he came here to see how a real truck is built lol
Nicholas Q. He is here to hate on ford... who knows, maybe he get hit by a f 150 and hate the brand ever since lol
Amazing to see how few people it now takes to build a truck.
The truck at 9:49 is clean!!
Gorgeous
Love my F150..
Scorty Kilmer approves this vehicle
That much automation a truck should cost half as much as it does period.
@may day are you dumb
Elon Musk said at the Tesla Y unveiling that designing the manufacturing process of building a car (or truck) is 100 times harder than designing the vehicle itself. With videos like this its easier to appreciate what he means!
Looking forward to buying one soon God willing!
We love ford so much because we had an XLT then upgraded to a Platinum then upgraded to a Limited!
Chris was just vibing at 0:25
Think about it An f-150 sells in america and i am only talking about america every 35 seconds. 35 Seconds!! that is what only ford can do right. more proof that THE BEST NEVER REST
Forevergreen Landscapes & Lawncare the best GM can do is decorate junkyards and make benches out of their tailgates.
@@Captain_DeSync You make great points those tailgates are weird and very complex
So, if a truck rolls of the assembly line every 53 seconds and they sell one every 35 seconds then that means the supply is is less than the demand. That explains the price they are asking for one if these trucks.
@@Xlac Every 53 seconds was referring to Dearborn Truck. Kansas City also build F-150's
@@Xlac they sell every 35 seconds because of people unloading their used junk trucks.
I freaking love my 2015 f150 fx4
Ford is the king of all truck, not only in safety, but in reliability!
Chevy claims so but look around i do not no about you but i see more 80's and 90's fords than chevy's or dodges
man I want one.. so bad..
100% agree
I’ve had three. Now Ford wanted an arm and a leg to go from 2019 to 2021. Gee, thanks
I just bought a 2015 xlt with 118 km so hopefully its one of the best its my first Ford pick up
Wow amazing trucks!
Ford is the best!!
Sorry, from the standpoint of quality, durability, and price, THEY SUCK...Aluminum is NOT a metal strong enough to be made into a work truck
Wish I could afford a new truck. My 08 just hit 225 kms. Would love a new Ford F-150!
Nice!! Ordered (7 weeks ago) my 2019 F-150 XLT regular cab short box 4x2 with 2.7 Ecoboost and 3:73 gears. Arriving soon I hope.
anyone know why the raptor at 10:51 has marker lights on the bumper? never seen them before, but they look awesome.
Bulky Sphinx they look like reflectors
The F150 raptors have the marker lights on the bumper because the raptor is wide enough to fall into the commercial class for width, which requires those marker lights on any vehicle in the class
These new f150 look really nice.
I dont own a ford truck but I'm a Ford mustang EcoBoost owner thank you ford for building a great truck an mustang .proud to be a Ford owner but my favorite truck is the Raptor
Thanks guy's superiour work
Love my 4wd f150 limited
Love my 2010 F150
thank you ford for giving us technician work.
Funny cause my truck(s) only in shop for oil changes every 5k mis.
I would’ve liked to see how they E-coat the frame. So many coming off the line you’d think you’d be able to get a deal😂Liking the plant manager.😍
Great video and very much appreciated. Hope to visit the plant this spring!
The Rogue Factory Tour is a cool thing to do. It's not as in-depth as this, but you do get to see a bunch of cool stuff.
BEST TRUCKS IN HISTORY
Every 53 seconds they complete a ford. So they charge $1,000+ per second to sell the trucks lmao
A Carrot - and your point is????
One rolls out the door every 53 seconds does not mean that it takes 53 seconds to make ....
Ben Clark that’s why I said “EVERY 53 seconds they complete a Ford” dumbass.
That literally makes no sense , I paid 36k for my 19 sport . Sure you can pay 53k if you want a high end trim. I dont really understand the comment though, since literally they have models 25k difference in price.
I wish Ford still offered a stick shift in the F150, even if it was the base 3.3L V6, id still buy one. Looks like ill be driving my 07 4.2/5 speed forever
07' F150 with the 4.2 V6 owner also. Has been a solid truck for me also. But I'm afraid the new car bug has bitten me. I'm digging the 3.3 V6 at the moment, as it has almost 100 HP more than my 4.2 Liter came out with.
@@ubangiestomp I went from a 2013 3.7 F150 to my 2007 4.2 5 speed, the 3.7 was no slouch
I worked for Hyundai & others would ask "is Hyundai building a truck?" We were told "Ford owns the truck industry & has no intention of letting it go" they are that respected in the industry, truly something to be proud of in a day where so many build junk.
I love my 11 Ranger, old school like me.
2011 isn't even old. Nice try though
They share the same (cab forward) as a 95-01 Explorer . I snagged torsion bars out of one for my ex.
out of all the ones like this I have watched, no one ever shows how they do the fluids. Hook up the fluid lines and fill them. Like brakes and coolant are all pressurized. How do they fill and get all the air out so quick?
GOD Bless America and GOD Bless FORD
Thanks for watching! -Zach
FORD the best
I Drive One Ford for first time when I was 14 years in mines/mountains in Perú
A very very interesting video! I liked seeing the new processes of attaching the metal together now! A great video!
Built with out your tax dollars 👍
They actually recieved taxpayer loans, not a bailout but essentially the same thing.
Wasn't Ford the ONLY auto manufacturer that did take any bailout money? You mean GM and Chrysler thank Lee Iaccoca for inventing that ripoff racket. Con man extraordinaire!

That dude really wanted to see some welding.
awesome video! Thank you for sharing, loved the comment about how much pride they take when building such an iconic vehicle
So this is what a factory looks like on the inside
Stamping over here
I love my 3 fords. I ordered my first ford in 1978 just the way I wanted it. It cost 6,300.00
How is it that some F150 end up at the dealer with out of alignment doors, seal leaks, water leaks around rear cab light, fit and finish issue. with all the inspecting they claim, I never see one getting pulled of and repaired. I call BS on the claims, My dad used to work at the KC plant and told me many time of a bolt being stripped out or another issue and it gets sent out anyway. The old saying was let the dealer worry about it.
Always a troll. Ur Dad worked at KC huh? Doubtful ... lying? Best quality trucks u can buy.
