PHO Webinar: IPAC Orientation for IPAC Leads in LTC: Construction, Renovation, Maintenance & Design

Public Health Ontario (PHO) is hosting a six-part weekly webinar series to provide orientation information to novice IPAC leads in the long-term care sector. This is the fifth presentation in the series and addresses key elements of construction, renovation, maintenance and design (CRMD) in long-term care homes. This session describes key strategies and considerations for CRMD projects, including the correct implementation of infection prevention and control (IPAC) approaches.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Identify the importance of supervising CRMD activities in long-term care homes.
2. Recognize IPAC approaches to CRMD.
3. Understand key strategies and considerations for ensuring CRMD projects are carried out safely.
