HEY GUYS. There is a short period of lost sound, not sure what happened in the upload. When editing there was perfect sound, it had to be a glitch on UA-cams side. It does come back and I am not saying anything important to the construction, just chatting away as I do. Sorry about this but we have no control over how UA-cam post our videos, wish we did. Thank you so much for watching. E
I’m so glad I saw your comment! I was freaking out, closing the App, restarting my phone… I thought my phone was messed up😁.
Hi E. I cannot find where you respond to our comments. Of course I am new to this.
Anyway, I cannot tell you how excited I am! I MADE MY VERY FIRST EPHEMERA JOURNAL! Woot Woot!
Your granddaughter sounds like my grandson, pushes you to the limit until you say enough is enough but you just gotta give them ten out of ten for trying. Don’t you just love them. Love this idea so I’m off to make some. All your ideas are wonderful. Thank you lovely lady. 🥰🥰👍😄😄
These are right up my alley! Thank you Edith. 💜💚
Hi E. The index cards is awesome. Your layout is fantastic. The grandkids always working with a plan. Starrt small and ends up big. Have a great day.
I thought my phone was messing up, when the sound went off🤣🤣🤪…. Glad to know it was UA-cam!!
These turned out AWESOME ❣️❣️…. I love the coloured butterflies.
I love hearing Brooklyn stories ❣️❣️🤣🤣🤣…
Luv this idea with the cards and luv u spoil those grandkids that’s what grandmas do yea 😇❤️
Thank you for sharing. HAVE a WONDERFUL evening.❤🥰
All of a sudden the sound turned off. It's back now. But I almost disarded. Glad I kept watching.
Very simple and effective! Liked those butterfly clusters! TFS 😃
These are great!!! I always forget about index cards. Thanks for the Brooklyn story 😊💜
I really like that Tim Holtz/water spritz technique.
My grandbabies, 8&5, love to craft with me too!!♥️
I love these journal cards E! Very grungy and pretty. 🦋
Soon as I saw this I had to make some! I love how they turned out. Thank you so much for all your time and talent.
I love this project. Beautiful journal cards for your journal. Love them butterflies.
Very nice! Index cards must be breeding cuz I'm seeing several makers with them, coming up with all kinds of great things for our journals. Gonna be makin me some of these! Thank you so much!
Greetings from Calgary, I love this idea and can't wait to create these, Thank you! I see endless possibilities using this technique! Enjoy your day 🥰
ModPodge is sticky on all of my finished projects also. I can't use it in my art journals,, its ruined several of my pages. I live in Oregon, maybe we have similar weather. Thanks for your videos, I get a lot of fun ideas from you 💕
Mrs. E I am in love with these. I am making a steampunk journal for my son n law and these would be great. My grandson also thinks if you order something it comes the same day. Please take care and God Bless.
I was worried when you soaked them with water but wow! These are so adorable. Just a suggestion for the other side, maybe put a then layer of distress color so it makes the whole card looked aged. Thanks Mrs. Edith
These turned out so cute!! Really like them. 🤗👍🙌🏻
Love what you’ve done with these index cards.
Oh Miss E I love this. I use index cards all the time. But these would be so perfect in a variety of journal styles. Thank you. Prayers up blessings down
What a wonderful idea! They are so beautiful!
These are absolutely gorgeous! I have index cards, so this has given me inspiration. Thanks for sharing.
These r absolutely fabulous!! Iv had a pile of index cards just waiting for this project! Thanks so much!
I love the wrinkled tissue and ink!!! TFS
Those index cards a gorgeous!
These turned out great. I have so many tissue patterns I don't know what to do with them so this was a great idea.
Wow I love the ink effect on these cards. I love ❤ them. I have a bunch of these cards.
I live in Ontario, Canada and as you know, it’s not tropical here, except in summer! 😆 I also find that Mod Podge feels dry but when two surfaces are together, say in a journal, they tend to stick and you need a piece of velum or something between the pages.
These are so pretty❣️🤗💕🦋
Hi Eve! Oh these are super cute! You have the best ideas! TFS Hugs!
THESE ARE SO PRETTY-TFS-HUGS/BLESSINGS
I love how these turned out.
I love these! A must do project to add to my to do list. Thank you for sharing!
If you want some awesome green paper, stop in at any body shop and ask if you could snag a piece, maybe even some they've thrown away cuz it would be all crumply and painty and it's so cool. I just wish I had been into this sort of thing when I had access to all the painty crinkly paper I could stand. At least I can share the idea with you. 😁
I really like these, easy to do and pretty, thank you.
I lost sound for a bit also. I love the cards, they turned out so nice, love using the ink and then spray with water to make it run down the cards, that's a great look. Walmart has a nice little craft table for 20, I have one in my corner in my dining room, it's really handy, perfect for most jobs and it has adjustable heights.
Oh wow!! I love this!! That you!
I really like these. They look lot harder to make than they really are, and the sewing around the edges gives them the perfect touch. Thanks for sharing.
Hello E, thank you for the index card idea's. I have a few of them. Like always you have great ideas. Thanks Adrienne
Just found your channel! You are so stinking cute with your stories and explaining how to make the cards! I will definitely be watching more!
@angie Moore Ms. E is fabulous. She's a great teacher, very creative, kind and has a great sense of humor! If you are new you might not know she has a daughter, Melina, who also has a UA-cam channel. She is just as wonderful and also has a very creative mind and a good teacher too! They do some things a like and other times they teach each other something new. Fun to watch both!
@@geridevries839 How sweet thank you.
Thank you so much for watching, and welcome to our little family.
These are so pretty! I'm inspired, thank you!
Great idea! Love them!🇨🇦
Loved the video! I too lost sound for a little while. I hope I didn't miss anything important! Lol. I live in Mississippi and mod podge leaves my projects tacky(I had been known to rub baby powder on them to solve that problem). I recently ordered some of the collage podge from y'all and I love it! Thanks for the tip!
Love this idea. They are really pretty . Thanks
I love this idea! Archival's Sepia ink is a beautiful color too.
Love love love these.
Miss Edith I tried it and apparently I had the wrong brush or not enough ink too much water or something. It never did run. BUT I did take my brush and paint it on and I LOVE IT!!!! I even took my ink pad and dabbed it on (yes, while still wet🤫) the card. Oh man!!! Super look!! I have a pic of me as a child someone sat a cup of coffee on top of and it SOOOO reminds me of that except it's square. It's awesome!! Thank you so very very much for showing us this technique!!
Great idea, got lotsa cards to use up!
Lost the sound for a little bit but back on now! Those are pretty neat looking! TFS!🥰
Love those 💜
I really like how these came out. I’m definitely going to make some.
I really like how these turned out! Will have to try making some.
I thought at the beginning this was going to be a not so good thing. Was I ever surprised, what a great idea and so beautiful. Thank you Edith for another wonderful journal card.🥰
Me too! I was thinking at the beginning that this wasn't something I would do, but boy howdy, they came out so pretty!
Very cute!! Love them!
These are adorable!
Thank you. Good easy idea. 😊
Love these. TFS. Lisa
Very pretty. I have a lot of index cards. Thanks for sharing your instructions and inspiration.👍😊
Love these!! ❤❤
Hi Edith:
These are very similar to Shanouki’s index cards. She also does playing cards. Great for journals.
I am interesting in the Tim Holtz dryers.
Those are so awesome! Love all that you did to the cards. I am very much inspired!! I love your Brooklyn story! Sounds like you love those grandbabies. They are very lucky. Hugs
They turned out great E. I love making new stuff look old. Brooklyn sounds like my Granddaughter did at that age. Happy memories. Thanks for sharing E. 🙂❤
One of my favorites!
These are cute, E. Thanks for sharing! I prefer collage pauge, myself. I think it does a better matte than mod podge. 😊😊
Lovely index cards.....😻
Great idea to use up those cards! They make great spools for your lace and bindings too with the heavier or doubled ones. Ty for the neat idea.
Thank goodness your granddaughter is feeling better.
I lost sound for awhile too but I think it was from the connection…gonna try this and add it to my idea book.
Really cute!
Very cool. I'll be making some of these. Thanks, E.
Great cards! Thanks for sharing.
I lost the sound on your video..worked on others so I just watched in silence. Liked these.
I'm with you. I hate Mod Podge for the sticky results it leaves. I have never figured out why it is so popular. As far as the area, I live in Texas and it stays sticky for me here, too. I usually use clear gesso because that's what I have right now. I would love to try your Collage Podge eventually.
I also lost sound for a few minutes, but it's back so. These came out very cute.
Lovely 😊. Tyfs. Blessings
Pretty cards
Very pretty
I have so many. I’ll try that!
Love these!!
Wow! Someone was upset because you are a good person?
I have my own beliefs, and one of them is that we all have the right to believe what we want and feel is right. I may not believe in religion, but I will defend your right to believe whatever you makes you happy. You and your family are good people.
I'm sorry you are having I'll health in your family. I am sending love and good wishes your way. May they all heal and put these things past them. I hope you get some peace of mind and peace in your heart, soon, E. You are a lovely person!
Ms. E, I sure do like these Index cards and it's something I have on hand! Thanks for another great idea! Your sound went off for about 3 minutes at about 5:38. I missed hearing your voice, but I was watching you work. So glad Presley is feeling better! Brooklyn is quite the girl! She knows gma loves her! TFS! Stay safe!
Another great idea!!! I will finally use that 25 cent thrift store pattern I bought last year. 😄
Love your videos!!!
Them are really neat
Have enjoyed your videos they are so informative and great ides to make your own. Thank you for sharing. I haven’t seen a video for a newbie, which I am on the tools you need to begin your junk journal journey. Not a lot of tools but maybe something that will help you out while figuring the process. Any ideas would be appreciated so much.
I just did a blog post about this. Here is the link. www.scrapbookingwithme.com/blog/newbies-to-journaling-supply-list#/
These are so cute - so easy to do & fun to do - thanks so much.
I like your videos !
Enjoy that.nice idea. Thanks
I have the same problem with Mod Podge and Collage Pauge works great.
Those turned out so cute. Love them.
Hello E, I really like the index cards you made, especially with the butterflies, so pretty. I bought my Ranger craft mat when they first came out about 10 years ago and still good as new, always clean it as soon as possible. Glad that Presley is feeling better. I don't care for Mod Podge myself, always seems to leave a tacky feel to it, I like to use gel medium instead. Thanks for sharing.
I love it! I have a bunch of index cards I've been ignoring them ... ill be digging them out!
I'm so excited having placed my first order from your store and got that craft mat. At least that's what I think I got. I appreciate all your tips, like the water bottle for your brushes, and spraying water on your ink to stain your paper. So cool. Have no idea how you learned all of this! Thanks for sharing.
I love this technique. I have lots of pattern tissue and will enjoy trying to do this. Probably on greeting cards because I am very low on handmade ones, but I see lots of possibility with doing this. Thanks for all the great ideas I have gotten from you!
Awe I love these, thank you ❤️🇨🇦
Those are adorable! I had a bunch of index cards given to me, and didn't know what I would do with them , and know j know what I can do thank you so much Edith for this share. I enjoy watching you and Melina so much!
The cards are amazing! One would never guess you started with an index card. So cool! Thanks for sharing your terrific ideas!
The journaling cards are absolutely beautiful!
Cute!
