Elivier seems legit. Card draw and a win con in one. Not bad. It’s in the perfect colors (if it had to be only two) for win conless stax. I think I’m sold on this as a deck. Very cool. Can’t wait to see the list. Also, the delta between how much people do respect a deck and how much they ought to is one of the secret keys to winning in cedh. I may just build this list.

Pull from eternity makes total sense in that list. It literally exiles cards each attack. Cards WILL be exiled and so it’s not going to be dead and also if you find yourself in a pod w no other breach decks it’s nice to have that out
Jensen is so fire, love, that one was the grand finale on your guys list! I played with him just a bit when he first was spoiled, and at the time didn’t love the hermit lines. May need to revisit that a bit! Call video concepts as well
Rowan uses Tendrils for a few reasons; you are playing all the rituals and lots of draw that’s all being discounted which makes it easy to build a storm count. The tendrils itself is discounted by Rowan. You use your life as a major resource and it can give you a top off in the life tank. And It can be recurred w Breach (and mizzex’s mastery/past in flames/yowgs will) I think it’s much better here than it would be in Max’s deck. Also Tendrils triggers storm kiln artist (which absolutely belongs in the list as you are gated by exactly colored pips)
Dockside Emiel is the 3rd win con. Through Emiels 2nd ability. People know how to play against this deck and choose not to haha. Most dont waste their Misstep on a Benevolent Bodyguard, and it might be to late at that point.
I play kess right now. So you know I’m a fringe guy lol. But I’m thinking of switching to tevesh kraum once I get the cards. I’m no sharky but I’m a one deck type of guy
I don’t understand why Talion is hard to close games with. It’s a dimir deck that draws a ton of cards w all the black tutors and whichever blue ones you may run; mystical tutor and maybe muddle the mixture? It has thoracle right?? Consult and tainted pact. Maybe you toss in a labman or jace if you aren’t hitting the win cons, but, damn.. all the tutors and card draw. Why is this going to time?? Play Mean Bet maybe? Are you maybe trying to lean into the damage output and play nearly win conless? (I mean I doubt you aren’t on the thoracle consult?) I could understand going super slim on win cons but if it’s not working maybe play win cons
Actually I'm finding it easier and easier to close games as I get the reps in. I think the deck is actually quite solid as is right now, I think the learning curve to playing it well is just very steep. -Max P

I think this looks better than Nymris and I think Nymris is a reasonable deck and a lot of fun for people who like to play control. If Talion is even a half step better I’m in!
