Priyadarshini Raje Scindia, wife of Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on April 26 in a rare interview, talked about her vision and views on politics and philanthropy.
On being asked about entering into politics, Priyadarshini Raje Scindia said, "...The social service is the value system of our family, it's in our blood. What he (Jyotiraditya Scindia) does, is not politics and people do not understand that...This (social service) is a very natural thing you cannot act on for a long time...In this region (Guna), many women have worked a lot and a woman who has given time to this region will move forward. Anyone could be that woman, it does not necessarily have to be someone among us."
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has been fielded by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Guna Lok Sabha constituency in Madhya Pradesh.
