Ah to be 14 again....used to live right up the hill from the Stadium. My first job was wrapping hotdogs there I REMEMBER THIS GAME. CANDLESTICK FOREVER!!! GO NINERS!!!
I remember watching this game on television going back a long time ago. This was a pretty good high scoring one. It was a hell of a lot more entertaining than their 2nd meeting the year after at Candlestick Park in their 7-3 matchup, that's for damn sure.
For the all NY giant's bragging, taylor got what was coming to him a couple of times at The Stick. Two times that I can remember broken ankles, and another dislocation of the hip or knee after attempting to injure Montana, and HE was the one that got forked up. The pic of him in the mouth of the Forty Niner's cart, crying like a baby, because he broke his whittle ankle, is my new screen saver.

Regular season games count too. Lose a game and it can keep you out of the playoffs like when the 49ers beat the Giants at Giants Stadium in week 2 of the 1988 season.
As a kid, I used to love the “You Make the Call” segment during commercials.
We hear so much about the 1990 MNF game (10-1 vs 10-1), but this game was 9-2 vs 9-2 and was just as compelling in a different way.
