- Hello Everyone , this is a project we have recently finished for our client Bhavesh and Himani Bhatt . The concept is Trad-Mo in nature .
Trad-mo stands for a combination of Traditional Indian and Modern minimal , this is a style for millennials . Most of us like simple minimal modern design but at the same time our core is Indian . With the busy life we want some designs that can be easily maintained , we don’t hold into age old items that our parents use to do , thus minimal designs makes totally sense for us . But at the same time we all love that one antique mirror or an age old vintage arm chair that can bring that Indian part of our home alive , this is move the focus to a point of the designs that is unique and has a history to it.
If you think about the Practical side of the Style , Minimal maintenance required for Trad-Mo . Its an idea of an open bright space with minimum furniture that you only need and than an Indian Corner were you have your roots hold , that’s when you know you are in the right space .
This is a 2bhk project 700 Sqft at Mira road , Mumbai.

House needs to be simple , practical ,& mainly easy to maintain. That what was keep in mind while doing the project. These days aesthetic are so on mind that people forget the practical approach. Ghar should look like ghar . Not like hotels . Purely my opinion. No hate. Interior mata has done great job.

The living area where the blue sofa comes seems completely disconnected from rest of the design. Those blue upholstery of sofa and curtains are makes it look dated.

The color of sofa and dining being bit darker than all the other blues of this home( like foyer wall, first bedroom panelling etc… was a great color choice ) looked a little off, other than tat its a great execution 👍🏻

Mandir next to the TV? Awkward sofa seating while watching TV, that too without back support. While the house looks easily on the eye, I feel form has taken over function.
