I'm not sure if I like the look of the Steelfeather Repeater but I like many Omolon weapons like cold heart and their scout rifles and even Veist linear fusions and smgs (not auto rifles though). Essentially, I like symmetrical designs which have futuristic appeal.
Why they always have been since D1 . What’s strange is you are just following the crowd . Get out son and use weapons besides dust rock blues and lunas howl . You can donut 👍🏽
I got one early on with Full Bore, Ricochet Rounds, Ambitious Assassin, and Swashbuckler with a range masterwork. It’s very nasty. Added on a chitin slate shader and it’s just plain gorgeous.
First one I got had feeding frenzy and swashbuckler. I was like, man I love this gun, it feels so powerful, you bet I'm keeping this. Glad to see I'm not alone.
For a PvP roll, don't sleep in the appended mag, ambitious assassin, SB/MKC combo with a back up mag. 65 round "base" mag. I'm pretty sure Everytime I reload with SBx5, I get a 102 round mag. I think 98 with my MKC roll, w/o app mag. I hardly ever empty the mag after the first reload, I just spray adds until MKCx3 leaves, then reload and it's right back. It's a pretty quick reload at base. I may be mistaken, but I think once you get the mag that big, you can't empty the gun before either damage buff leaves. Both rolls are absolutely oppressive when it comes to adds
My most recent roll on that beast was multi kill clip and ambitious assassin. Rounds for days. Came with extended mag mod already in it so im enjoying that for now
I just got myself a Steelfeather with Subsistence, multikill clip and stability for a MW. The stability was one of my biggest complaints with this weapon. This is pretty much a God roll to me. Weapon reloads partially after each kill so multikill stacks on its own! Can you say dope!
Hands down my favorite weapon in D1! I would rock my max stability/kill clip Hopscotch and my year one max range Conspiracy Theory D-bag, with Truth for my Heavy 🥰😢
I have a God Roll for Steelfeather: Full Bore/Armor Piercing Rounds/ Feeding Frenzy/Multi Kill Clip/Range Masterwork. I love it. Even though it lacks a scope, the range on it still is great. Really great PVE weapon.
Hoo boy, I've got quite a few of these bad boys, from the same god roll shown here, to a Graverobber+Swashbuckler, to a Feeding Frenzy+Osmosis (which is really phenomenal with a Nezarec's Sin build). I love it in PvE, but as a PC player it doesn't compete very well in Crucible. Still a super solid set of perks to grind for, and once you get your obelisks to 11, it's an incredibly easy grind. Great vid as usual 👌
Question on osmosis....sure it can benefit from a burn/singe in nightfall or whatever....but if thats your intent, why not just grab an energy weapon? Honestly the best use i have found for osmosis is when there happen to be several shields around, and a grenade cant pop them all; especially if they match your sub class element. Throw the grenade, smash some shields, explode some faces, then a quick back and forth and youre kinetic again. Want to hit a different element shield? Your energy slot and power slots can be different elements than your osmosis weapon. Boom. All 3 elements covered with weapons and not just abilities.
I used to value feeding frenzy on this, but then I realized that the default reload is so fast that it's hard to tell the difference. Maybe if you want to run it with extended magazine, but then you're giving up something like ricochet rounds. I just don't think you need feeding frenzy, especially when it's competing with firmly planted and slideways. I think people are overlooking osmosis on this because you can also roll it on patron of lost causes, which can currently be given barrier piercing. Hold onto a good roll with that perk.
I have a steel feather with armor piercing, firmly planted and swashbuckler. The firmly planted (I think) feels very good. It feels very stable when crouched
Firmly planted on this auto makes it where you don't need to invest on stability on but instead go for range (especially for consoles). I got one with hammerforge, hiCal, frmlypl'td, and swashbklr.
So I have two of them that are Masterwork. One has Osmosis and increased range which I mainly use for PVE. The other has Kill Clip with increased stability which I feel is very good in PVP since it has very little recoil. I feel satisfied with what I got. Both of them are keepers
You can match ricochet rounds with osmosis + ARC grenade to self inflict arc damage(with bullets against wall) into risk runner proc. You can do it in pvp and pve! it's pretty consistent!
Thank god you put the exact same thing as the first part of your title in parenthesis immediately after. I almost had no clue what the video was about!
Using it with Osmosis for me, on top of the singe playlists, it allows me more freedom in secondary instead of the elemental auto rifle being in that slot. As Titan, i found wearing the double grenade chest piece made it a convenient thing especially when you're going through things boosting the speed of the grenade energy. Always have a grenade to kill minions and an extra one in case you had a quick swap to take out a major or something.
I love the osmosis perk for my warlock exotic helmet that, the one that recharges everything will void kills, that combined with demolition, on strikes with grenade charge faster and mods to make things charge faster, I almost infinite abilitys and almost never have to reload ever lol I love it
I have Osmosis and Firmly planted with a Stability masterwork. It's pretty useful in PvE but never tested in PvP. It's my go to weapon for the osmosis perk in activities because of the elemental burn.
I have a SF repeater with firmly planted and swashbuckler, its very good when your not coruched but when crouched, ohh, it hits hard and fast. A nightmare to deal with in crucible, slide and track.
Was kind of funny. I was doing the quest to bring back Saint-14 where I had to get 25 kills in PVP. I suck at PVP. Will not hide that. So I went in with my then current load out, using a Steelfeather Repeater with Grave Robber and Swashbuckler. "Time to die a lot," I said in my first match. 26 kills. 4 deaths. A ten kill streak. Best match of PVP I've had in years, since a one off in D1 Iron Banner where I went 27-3 with a god roll PDX-45. Damnedest thing. I can only conclude the opposition was WORSE than me, but I now have a soft spot for the Steelfeather.
Got one with a handling masterwork plus Feeding Frenzy and Multikillclip. No secondary perk, as I got this from the very first drop of the weapon back when it was a bounty I think (hadnt even done sundial at that point). Was very impressed, and the only thing I'd change is probably to change the masterwork to range, as its pretty stable already.
Hey cross. I have a steelfeather repeater with elemental Capacitor and firmly planted. Initially I didn't think I would like it.... But it's super addictive. Firmly planted just letting you laser people when you need the distance. And based on the element of your subclass elemental Capacitor is basically comparable to either snapshot/quickdraw combined with handling, firmly planted always being active in stability, or having outlaw always procked. I'm on controller on PC. Void subclass for stability and while crouching it is a laser like nothing I've ever shot before in my destiny life lol
I have a few that are weirdly good rolls, I have some feeding frenzy, multikill clip/swashbuckler. I have an osmosis, feeding frenzy. Also have one that’s ambitious assassin, and multikill clip, quite like that one for PvE, shreds through shit when you can kills few things, and have an 80 something round clip, with multikill clip is quite nice. Not to mention that range perk.
I was EXTREMELY lucky in that my 2nd Steelfeather that I ever got was feeding frenzy/swashbuckler. And it was one of those things where I didn't realize how good it actually was until I kept using it (bc I really wanted Vorpal at the time). But like you mentioned you don't really use Autos for boss dps and once I let that sink in I started loving it for clearing ads. I actually throw on minor spec as well and Steelfeather SHREDS mobs really well.
I had a steelfeather repeater with armor piersing rounds, firmly planted and swashbuckler with a reload masterwork. The thing was awesome! I let my younger brother play on my account one day and the next thing I know it was gone.. I'm still grinding to get another.
I use this strictly for PvE - I got an Ambitious/Vorpal roll that I've seen reload to over 90 rounds with ExMag numerous times after going after trash mobs/EP level 1 thrall. It's great there!
I have a firmly planted vorpal and firmly planted swashbuckler if you’d like to test em. Love the look and feel of this auto. Honestly I don’t feel like it needs a reload perk, It’s pretty fast by default.
I still use this weapon. It gets me out of a lot of jams when I'm in the crucible. The handling is surprisingly great, especially when tapping the trigger. I love it.
Firmly Planted does what it says, it increases the stability and accuracy greatly on Steelfeather. It even works mid-slide. However in PvP, since it is a bullet hose weapon and not burst damage, you're spending too much time slowly crouched and slowed. Pair that lack of burst damage with its clunky handling and poor-ish raw hipfire and its definitely not a slideways playmaker gun. Wouldn't recommend Firmly Planted. It works on paper but not in practice.
If you wanted to have like double mag for it since you have a melee build try ahamkara grasps + arc strider middle tree so you can launch and it’ll auto reload it and keep the perk active and on 3x instead o bumpin it back down to 1x, in fact i use it all the time with monte carlo so you have multiple you can throw out and it instantly reloads the monte carlo, which then recharges the melee, which reloads the monte w/out the animation + the sidestep that regenerates melee energy when near an enemy
I also use bottom tree voidwalker for the devour trait+ feed the void trait, which heals you in constant stream whilst also providing grenade energy with the insatiable trait, add in the exotic helmet Verity’s brow (energy weapon kills boost grenade regen) and the graviton lance + a decent grenade (i prefer to use scatter grenade for quick dmg) and it is an amazing PVE build that absolutely shreds
And for a titan build, i would recommend sunbreaker middle build for the thermite grenade and throwing hammer enhanced by the roaring flames trait, paired up with the exotic helmet khepri’s horn and polaris lance (preferably masterworked) or sunshot, and it is just insane in pve with the loop further enhancing barricade+giving it the ability to launch a searing flame across the ground + a nearly eternal melee ability + further barricade regen due to solar kills with polaris lance or sunshot, where when the barricade kills some pve enemies it also further increases damage for more solar abilities
I have one with swashbuckler and subsistance and it is insane. I use middle tree hunter throw some knives and then go to work. i NEVER have to reload and i can keep X5 swash up for near ever.
I have an FF + MKC one that I love (same roll on an Adhortative) and yeah... I like Swash or KC for bulkier targets or PvP (and Swash is fun with some ranged melees, like the new heavy knife), and MKC is better for high density, low tank ad clear. If I wanted to use Grave + Swash steelfeather though, I'd probably just use Monte Carlo instead, truthfully.
On this gun specifically I prefer ambitious assassin + mkc. It reloads so fast naturally and those extra rounds are really good to maintain mkc x3. Getting 3 kills means 15 more round, which is usually enough to keep that sweet bonus coming
The first steelfeather repeater I ever got was this god roll but with hammer forged and light mag with a reload masterwork... I run a hunter with way of a thousand cuts, sealed ahamkara grasps, and a gamblers dodge.
I got one with osmosis and subsistence for PvE but I honestly don't think too much of the auto. Definitely nothing on Misfit. Love that gun and for me feels like the best auto in PvP.
Just got the steel feather rolled with Feeding Frenzy and surrounded and under that swashbuckler. When I put surrounded spec on for PVE OMG it destroyed RIP red Legion
Like the steelfeather but for me the biggest lack is range, thats why in either pvp or pve i would use the Braytech Werewolf or the Ringing Nail... both have kill clip and the recoil is more controllable plus their range is decent. With all the bs in pvp though its hard using any auto but they fun to use and not mindless like shotguns or Fusion riles eg Erentil etc.
Really wish this thing could have rolled rapid hit... Also... vorpal weapon works on majors as well, so don't write it off too soon. Vorpal + Major spec is a 24% damage buff against majors
Farmed a ton of these and tried out many, many rolls. Tricky gun to roll properly. For me, Firmly Planted is in the god roll -- on PC. Only 720 auto in the game that can roll it and I see why. Swash, FP, Ricochet (has been extremely elusive ime), Smallbore/HF, Range MW is what I've been going for.
I got pretty lucky with a Hammer Forged, Flared Mag, Grave Robber, Swashbuckler, Range Masterwork drop. Use this with Warlock dawnblade top tree, solar Plexus, and Karnstein Armlets and you have yourself a nice build.
I have the same, but RANGE masterwork, the first I got was Handling + Feeding Frency + Kill clip... At lvl 100 I tried it again and got the god roll you have there xD
FAX!!!! I'm just scrolling like, "I can't be the only one". I got one with appended mag, Ambitious and Swashbuckler, back up mag. 102 round mags make just feel op
I got my god roll on the 4th try 1)hammer forged rifling 2)flared mag well (or armor piercing rounds for that extra flinch) 3)feeding frenzy 4)multikill clip 5)range masterwork It’s noice👌
I think ambitious assassin surprisingly with something like swash or surrounded and (auto rifle titan exotic that I'm forgetting the ame of) could be really nasty, especially with something like tactical or extended mag and full on range barrels and mw. Just a thought, I've only gotten feeding frenzy and surrounded and multi so far (how unlucky am I ;P)
This may be a bit late but I'm curious. Will this auto rifle with its current 1260 infusion cap be affected by sunsetting when the next season comes out? I LOVE this weapon and have been using it religiously. (Well not really anymore seeing as it's at 1243 atm and is currently sitting in my vault) I just don't want to lose this weapon as its actually badass.
I played around with this thing a little bit early on. I like it, but its range is so short that it hardly feels like an auto rifle. I end up treating it more like an smg I think its an AR just becuase it can have a little higher impact and they wanted to rein in its rof a bit
I got two one is the God roll with Feeding Frenzy and multi kill clip. But in PVE I go to my other beautiful roll with Feeding Frenzy and Osmosis, Both are really hard to pick from
I know this is not related to the video but I figured it was a good question to be asked and maybe you can make a video about it with all the new weapons and new perk combinations weapons why can we not have our not forgotten return to it's 180 form and have magnificent howl work the way that it used to work where it rewards you for hitting crits instead of making you learn to use it in a different way than intended
surprise you didn't go into the roll combination of swash, ambitious assassins, extend mag with a back up mag mod paired with a titan actium war rigs exotic chest piece. with this roll i can often gain a clip size of over 100 and keep firing for "days" in a similar manner when using sweet business but without taking that exotic slot. of course this is a pve set up not pvp still i am enjoying it.
*#1 sexiest weapon in D2 atm.*
Almost the same roll as mine I have slideways with swashbuckler or multi kill clip
Aztecross Gaming hey is it possible to get armor with 0 points in any slot? Just ran into a guy who had no points in strength and discipline.
Aztecross Gaming infinity Toaster
I'm not sure if I like the look of the Steelfeather Repeater but I like many Omolon weapons like cold heart and their scout rifles and even Veist linear fusions and smgs (not auto rifles though). Essentially, I like symmetrical designs which have futuristic appeal.

“Steelfeather Repeater GOD ROLL (Steelfeather Repeater GOD ROLL)”
helluva title right there bud
I think he's talking about Steelfeather Repeater GOD ROLL
This actually confuses me.
Gotta let the bs youtube algorithm know that its a godroll 😎
Dumbass title
Its the steelfeather repeater, he had to repeat the title
I really like this gun but the muzzle flash is brighter than my future
you gotta wear shades
Damn this comment slaps my reality into question lul
Great..... Thanks. I never saw it b4. Now i cant unsee it.
Arc Logic 2: Blind harder
It feels weird that sidearms are currently stronger than ARs, It feels strange
Feels like csgo
Did you not play D1? Lol
Why they always have been since D1 . What’s strange is you are just following the crowd . Get out son and use weapons besides dust rock blues and lunas howl . You can donut 👍🏽
Donut
James Jordan nothing fun about hitting body shots with a sidearm . Too bad handcannons are “oP aNd nEeDeD tOo bE nErFeD”
I got one early on with Full Bore, Ricochet Rounds, Ambitious Assassin, and Swashbuckler with a range masterwork. It’s very nasty. Added on a chitin slate shader and it’s just plain gorgeous.
I'm here before forcer and FLAME
Interesting.
You did it. You mad man, you actually did it!
Sadly you posted 8 hours ago but forced posted 9 hours ago
It was a good attempt my friend
Flame was actually here before you... nice try though!
The red circle around elemental capacitor is still there lol
Title: Steel feather repeater GOD ROLL
*(Steel feather repeater GOD ROLL)*
Bruh what?
So nice, had to say it twice
Steel feather REPEATER
The description reads "Today we'll be reviewing Steelfeather Repeater Steelfeather Repeater inside PVE and PVP"
Repeat one more time
Steel feather repeater GOD ROLL
Atheons epilogue is back and he ain't playin games.
i mean atheons was 900 rpm, but this is the best we'll get
Atheons been back lmao it’s called the Reckless Oracle
My very first raid weapon ever! I wish they would bring some of the real old guns back
Alex Ayala or as I call it... ahem... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH shit gotta reload... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
yeah idk about that one chief
I miss this gun, still got three of them in my vault
Ambitious Assassin on this is very underrated.
I wanna just say my first steelfeather repeater was multi kill clip feeding frenzy and ricochet rounds
Same, but with high cal
Rodrianius same does anyone know if it adds a perk to all weapons or just future drops
The rank 92 unlock? I think just future drops.
Same
@@jordan8636 no it was the first weapon i got when i first played the sundial for the first time
Ambitious assassin, very underrated on this, I love mine with multi kill clip, just saiyan.
I've got one with multikill clip/subsistence, straight b u s t e d
I remember i got ambitious assasin and extended mag on my hammerhead turning it into the bully gun
First one I got had feeding frenzy and swashbuckler. I was like, man I love this gun, it feels so powerful, you bet I'm keeping this. Glad to see I'm not alone.

I have a God Roll for Steelfeather: Full Bore/Armor Piercing Rounds/ Feeding Frenzy/Multi Kill Clip/Range Masterwork. I love it. Even though it lacks a scope, the range on it still is great. Really great PVE weapon.
That's what i noticed, the damage drop off is real, but with you having the range masterwork it must help considerably.
@@joshuasterling2144 It actually does. I've been able to hit stuff a little farther. Makes it all the better.

I just want the weapon model back.
Firmly planted and MKC is pretty nice too. Though there are other ways to get that stability
Animelytical is basically a perfect way to go on console, so we can focus on range
I have a steel feather with armor piercing, firmly planted and swashbuckler. The firmly planted (I think) feels very good. It feels very stable when crouched

is ambitious assassin and multi KC good?
That kill at 4:20 was nasty. Nice!
The roll on my is polygonal rifling ricochet round feeding frenzy and surrounded

The first steelfeather repeater I ever got was this god roll but with hammer forged and light mag with a reload masterwork... I run a hunter with way of a thousand cuts, sealed ahamkara grasps, and a gamblers dodge.
Can we talk about that grenade @3:29 tho 🔥👌🏾
Use this with Warlock dawnblade top tree, solar Plexus, and Karnstein Armlets and you have yourself a nice build.
for me, the god roll was grave robber and swash. works perfectly with my arc melee build. or even without a melee build.
100%. I like the feeding frenzy multi killclip roll I have, but the graverobber swashbuckler combo is just so so easy to play with.
This title
Steelfeather Repeater God Roll (Steelfeather Repeater God Roll)
Way to good
He forgot to include [Steelfeather Repeater GOD ROLL]
I have the same, but RANGE masterwork, the first I got was Handling + Feeding Frency + Kill clip... At lvl 100 I tried it again and got the god roll you have there xD
This is the one I have had since the start of this season.
Love this weapon
Everyone’s sleeping on ambitious assassin with an insane mag with MKC, honestly better than feeding frenzy as you utilize that MKC buff more
FAX!!!! I'm just scrolling like, "I can't be the only one". I got one with appended mag, Ambitious and Swashbuckler, back up mag. 102 round mags make just feel op
I got my god roll on the 4th try
1)hammer forged rifling
2)flared mag well (or armor piercing rounds for that extra flinch)
3)feeding frenzy
4)multikill clip
5)range masterwork
It’s noice👌
I got a breachlight with Osmosis and Demolitionist and it was great for the strikes and nightfall
My Steelfeather has ambitious assassin & multi kill clip. Great for PvE
Watching you shoot this gun on PC is so satisfying.
Legend says that circle is still there today, highlighting perks that aren’t there
I think ambitious assassin surprisingly with something like swash or surrounded and (auto rifle titan exotic that I'm forgetting the ame of) could be really nasty, especially with something like tactical or extended mag and full on range barrels and mw. Just a thought, I've only gotten feeding frenzy and surrounded and multi so far (how unlucky am I ;P)
I have hammer forged ricochet feeding frenzy kill clip range mw just wanted y’all to know:))
I use a ambitious assassin/multi kill clip for pve
tahdizzle that’s the one!
Got me a Steelfeather with Graverobber and Swashbuckler with a Range masterwork. In my mind (and playstyle; Titan main) it's the perfect God roll.
Do you think subsistence would be better the feeding frenzy??
I got a Swashbuckler/Subsistence roll that I've been using in Gambit cause I've yet to get Breakneck. Been going pretty well so far.
I don't own the season pass , But I got the same roll on first Steel feather as the quest reward. Feeding frenzy + Multi kill clip . Yeets 😁
I played around with this thing a little bit early on. I like it, but its range is so short that it hardly feels like an auto rifle. I end up treating it more like an smg
I think its an AR just becuase it can have a little higher impact and they wanted to rein in its rof a bit
Firmly planted plus vorpal weapon is incredible in pvp on spectral blades
I got two one is the God roll with Feeding Frenzy and multi kill clip. But in PVE I go to my other beautiful roll with Feeding Frenzy and Osmosis, Both are really hard to pick from
I have almost the exact same roll, but instead of feeding frenzy, it’s Subsistence, and it feels amazing.
I got feeding frenzy multi-kill clip appendage mag and handling masterwork.....I can spam down choke points and it's amazing
I took a break from D2 , haven't logged in since the quest shenanigans from Iron Banner. I was in orbit 30 seconds after seeing the roll.
I have a really interesting role for pve and decent in pvp. extended mag Sustenance swasbuckler and backup mag let's you shred all day.
