I'd be interested to watch a level 99 party try and brute force their way through (no psynergy sealing or Lull strategy). Going at it this way, Dullahan really has no shot, and it's just a matter of time until you chip away enough to kill him :/
took me 30 minutes to beat him, because the dullahan I fought kept spamming CHARON and everyone kept getting knocked out instantly. I probably used about 30 water of lifes
Yeah, it takes a lot of time just to get up to, say, 50-55. But 100!?! Thats just plain insanity. Let's not forget you only have about 30% chance per battle to fight "Wonder Birds" (Hah, still remember the name!) Hmmmm, just how many hours did it take you?

Kyle Zawacki yes he can, but the video uses the sealing strat, which keeps Dullahan's psynergy sealed for the whole battle. It prevents him from summoning Charon (and using Djinn Storm for the matter). The description explains it
Not really, but rare enemies who use summons don't have any djinn. There's one guy in DD who uses your standby djinn to pull it off, but for all the rest, like Dullahan, it's classified as a psynergy move for some reason
Hmm, don't know why but when I just attempted a similar strategy he used Charon/Djinn Storm despite the Psynergy Seal (in the Sanctum not the arena), maybe they made him immune in a newer version of the cart?
I remember I managed to beat him without summon rushing at L45. No psy-seal or any of that jazz, although I did try to build up summons but... man he was probably the one boss I actually had a hard time with, and probably the most fun :)
Yeah, that is actually what I did. Was mainly trying to go for a more challenging (and satisfying) kill for once that didn't rely on insane amounts of luck.

the "bug" you talkning about maybe doesnt work on the USA version, cuz the european version (which is in spanish, well the game i play) i defeat dullahan with a djinn and got the extra exp
You don't even have to do multiple playthroughs to get to level 99. I got everyone except Piers to level cap by exp. spamming wonder birds in Islet Cave.
I had a level 40 or so party that crushed Dullahan, granted it took hours but without summons. Except for Catastrophe at the very end because I had a full hp party and I felt like it for fun. He only had a little hp left anyway. Would've died the same round.
dullahan is so easy with a level 99 party... its a simple procedure use jenna until he uses djinnstorm then switch to mia ( for heals obviously) and keep hitting him, make sure u got excaliburs and sol blade
I play against him every once in a while, I play it on hard mode lvl 99 Characters with no djinns/summons/seal. Just basic attacks, and support psynergy. It's so much fun, but it's starting to become way too easy. Why there isn't a hard boss like this one in GS1 aswell. The one from the Crossbone Isle doesn't count, way easier. xD

How much time did you need to get level 99? I spent like almost 6 hours from 35 to 61 level

I think he doesn't use it if you seal his psynergy.

is there a cheat to raise party lvl up to 99? just asking, i'm only lvl 56,55,56,56..it's a hard time to lvl up faster.
I know its 7 yrs late but go to the turtle island you see those birds that are fire elementals kill them with mercury djinn it give ayos 13k xp

Pretty sure it wasn't luck, the whole point of the psyenergy seal is to prevent dullahan using Dijinn Storm and Charon in the first place.

for me, it's not really a match with Dullahan, he hasn't used Djini Storm and Charon. Is not a real match.

I do the same thing when fighting the fusion dragon from GS1; I spam the attack command (and a few wish commands) to defeat that sucker.
