definitely dont see video discs that often. they are double obsolete!!😁 but like vhs I think big name collectible films (like star wars / B2TF) horror genre etc will be collectible to people who just love the films and buy anything to do with it. I think out of the bunch I would have bought Kate bush (huge worldwide fanbase) and Escape from New York

I think they are a good investment, i do worry about postage on these though, i have a backlog of records unlisted including Beatles stuff, but i am worried about them getting damaged in post.
always thought video discs were like huge floppys. like laserdisc are massive dvds

I bought a bundle of around 50 of those CED Videodisc's a couple of years ago. Took a while to shift them as they're very niche, but sold some of the better known titles individually then I think the last 20 to 30 I did as a big bundle, they weigh a ton so went with Parcelforce. People like to buy that sort of thing for wall hangers, I kept one for myseld and have it up in the living room!

Awesome pickups there Chris especially the Pokémon that Vaporeon Build A Bear I've got and I've got the entire Eeveelution Build A Bears all got sound and kept in clean condition 👍, Absolutely love watching what vintage items you find at the carboot sale 😎✌

Another nice video! Loved the t-shirt you had on! The CED videodisc was a short lived technology from the early 80’s - see my fav YT tech guy (Techmoan) Matt’s explanation here ua-cam.com/video/0LrPe0rwXOU/v-deo.html
If you jump to around 20:25 of the Techmoan video, you may see some discs that look very, very familiar 😮
Just watched that Jeff mad that he had the same muppets disc. Very interesting to see them in action and how the machine takes the disc out of the cartridge I didn’t expect that.

Blimey, haven’t seen a videodisc for years & had actually forgot thosr big box ones existed. Great some are sealed too. Nice nostalgia 🫶
Coma was a good film back in the day & I’ve still got my dads original paperback book by Robin Cook in my collection from the 70s.
Great book & the artwork was really captivating back then & probably why it was one of the few I kept 👍
