I love this because the characters don't just meet and go through romantic stuff then a happy ending.
There is a conflict, a male protagonist (the average romance gacha movie has a female protagonist), an antagonist (that is usually a bad boy's annoying girlfriend), and reasoning. She wouldn't have just rejected him for no reason.
I love the plot and the romance between the characters.
Also, the best friend isn't some cliché, screeching shipper. She helped Candance in her fight with her boyfriend like an actual best friend would do. It's realistic. No tripping and falling on each other in the halls, nothing of that sort.
I absolutely love that analogy. The analogy about second chances. It's completely true. Giving someone another chance to hurt you, whether it be physically or mentally.
There's also a time gap! Too many of these just makes the lack of motivation obvious. One large time gap shows that they don't immediately get their happy ending.
Love takes time, doesn't it?

Then they could spent her final years with fun, do everything they always wanted to do, travel, go to Disneyland or whatever. And when she would have died, he would be sad, but at least he could make her and himself very happy and could have given her worthy last years. Then he would have moved on eventually and found his way to happiness again. Bute nope-
That girl just decides to reject him without a good reason and let him get bullied and left him alone and frustrated again. His heart would have been broken anyways. So yeah, good job sweetie👌
