Immer wieder schön! Es gibt nicht nur Hardrock und elektronische Musik! Ich mag das total, aber so ein getragener Gesang ist auch total schön und beruhigt die Nerven! 👍😎🇦🇹
... complete take, which is the one, I recorded with my camera. but the sound of the original file (due to the build-in mic of the camera) is very bad. but after the recording our recording engineer Jerome Lejeune from Ricercar gave me a file of the "run-through", which logically was the same, that I recorded. I only needed to combine the sound of jerome with my picture. and to prove, that these "belong together", just go to 6.18 when Lionels phone goes off, you can see a reaction in his face!
ANTOINE BRUMEL { Nogent-le-Rotrou 1460-1513 Nogent-le-Rotrou } - LAMENTATION LIVE - VOX LUMINIS.
Sounds like a lower transposition of the Tallis Scholars recording. English sound. Conductors beat unfathomable especially at the end. Singer at far right has his fingers in his mouth half the time. That said its a glorious piece.
??? do you really believe, that this is "dubbed"??? to be honest with you, in comparison to many other recordings of vox luminis, that I have posted on youtube, this one is a combination of sound and image, the image file being from a camera, a Panasonic FZ38 (if I remember right - the camera was stolen about a year ago) and the sound is from the microphones that were used for the recording. We recorded this piece in 3 parts, the two letters and the "jerusalem convertere",
Every time I watch a video, like this one, I cannot help but think of all those fading tribal groups who are feverishly trying to save their language from extinction. Those who tarry here, know that the pop culture world is not satisfied with saturating the public spaces but has at it core are unaware of the damage they do to in a quest for $ and ear time. =Then too those in the "top 40" classical music world seem to care little about their past and seem just as big-footed when they tromp on their ancestors.

Your voices blend beautifully in this intense interpretation of Brumel's Lamentationes. Wonderful.

Can't believe some of these comments! This performance is transcendent.
