To clarify a little more: if you are a garrison leader you still should use Joker if he is level 3 minimum. I'm specifically talking about the regular joiner that only joins in rallies! Hope this clarifies some of the confusion!

The joiner skills seem to do what they say on old battle engine, at least, for trap
Is possible. Im really not sure what they actually do in OBE. As far as Im aware its either defense or damage buff. Not even sure if joiner bonus applies there

Does all joiner have this troop protection if using daryl?
It should. Imagine you have ten people. 8 would preferably use Daryl as lead hero. Rally leader should use best heroes for its generation and a garrison leader with Roxy in. It doesn’t stack but applies for everyone :)
So for joiners joker does nothing but as a rally leader if you use joker not as captain his skills work right?
Yup, absolutely. As rally lead, you want Joker always. Rally joiner it will only hurt your troops

So what is the best hero for joiner?
Daryl as lead hero. The rest doesn’t matter
@@JUMP HI, my Daryl is only level 1 star. Think that it will be weak. Any other hero?
If I use Daryl as joiner, Do I need his 1st skill to be lvl5 in order to get 7% joiner bonus?
Skills don’t even matter here. Hero presence is enough. That’s the beautiful thing about it. You can basically resonate Daryl with anyone and you’ll get the joiner bonus :)
@@JUMP but in trap, you need the 1st skill of your captain joiner to be lvl5 in order to deal more dmg right? Do you know what makes a certain hero strong as joiner in trap like Sarge and Eva? why are they the best joiner in Trap but not in PvP and other type of rallies?

I'm not 100% sure about old battle engine, but in a new battle engine environment (gen 4 and upwards) joiner skills do not matter at all. I don't even know why they have that screen as the only thing that actually happens is the joiner bonus. Joiner heroes do not influence battle at all. For trap this means that joining with specific heroes won't help you to cause more damage... formations and troop level specifically will help you. All the rest is taken from the rally lead (research stats, heroes choice, gears, airplane ...). In old battle engine, I'm 80-ish percent sure they do have effect and somewhat work the way they were intended. For old battle engine, you're mostly looking for heroes which have high damage based skills (but thats a whole video on itsself). There has been done testing if old battle engine heroes have effect in new battle engine trap and they don't. Hope this makes a little sense!

I really liked the alliance I was with as an r4 but I've left so that they don't get punished over some personal insults traded with a different alliance!!

Best advice I can give is to make an alliance feel like home and family. State of Survival is a marathon, not a short track run and the most important thing about the game is feeling comfortable around the people you are playing with. If you get that right, the rest will follow :)
