I want to point out that Egeria (and Focalors) was also the sinners as we can see on the stone slate, thus they could not take the sin away with their "Hydro Archon" power passed down by Celestia. They wouldn't be dissolved, and weeping on the throne like the prophecy in which Furina takes care of this part.
There were so much foreshadowing about Focalors plan to judge Celestia... From the first moment we stepped foots from Fontaine, Furine popped out just to claim that God of Justice would judge anyone, even the Gods. And this line showed up again and again in the whole chapter. And at the end, Focalors told Neuvillette that she would love to judge the Heavenly Principles. We only think that Celestia would seek revenge for her action, but we don't know how her action is currently affecting it. Celestia may in chaos after her nuked the Hydro Archon throne to dust. Just a bit of clarity .. Focalors was the divine aspect of the Hydro Archon. Furina was the spirit/body aspect of the Hydro Archon. Together, as one, they were the Hydro Archon. For the plan, the divine aspect hid her existence from her spirit/body aspect. But they, as one, were still the Hydro Archon. The Hydro Archon was executed by "decapitation" of the divine aspect (symbolised by Furina's crown rolling on the ground). The divinity returning to the Hydro Dragon, and leaving Furina without divinity, and as human as any other Fontaine person. ua-cam.com/video/zdVh2n_dAic/v-deo.html Neuvillette: So, the Oratrice's call for death was for neither Furina nor Focalors, but for the Hydro Archon.
Currently we have only encountered Two of the Dragon Sovereigns. Neuvillette is obviously one, and the other was Apep, the Dendro Dragon encountered in Nahida's second story quest. The geo dragon who was once Zhongli's friend was not a Sovereign, nor was Dvalin.
It’s actually not confirmed either way for Dvalin and Azhdaha Azhdaha is “lord of the geovishaps” and “older than the mountains” so it’s a very likely possibility
@@chesedp2o23 Azhdaha is a vishap, a damn powerful one but still a vishap nonetheless. Dvalin is only ever referred to as an elemental dragon, not The Anemo Dragon. Apep on the other hand is directly called The Dendro Dragon, or Dragon of Dendro. Apep is the only other ancient dragon, or dragon sovereign, other than Neuvillette that we've encountered.
@@chesedp2o23 King, not a Sovereign. Titles are clearly important in Genshin lore. But whatevs, im not gonna debate this. If you wanna believe Azhdaha is the Geo Sovereign then by all means, whether or not this'll stand true later on in the game's lore shall be seen.
Each current living dragon sovereign except for Neuvillette has had a portion of their powers stolen away into the Gnosis that we know right now. Which is the basis for the Archon's powers. What Focalors did was completely obliterate the existence of the Hydro Archon in order for Celestia to not be able to choose another, and therefore the only choice was for the authority of the Archon that used to be there, to go back to the elemental dragon. To put it better like this.. Apep was shown to be incredibly strong, but Neuvillette now could probably take on Apep easily. Neuvillette, with his abilities as a fully fledged Dragon sovereign of water like the ancient dragons of the past when Teyvat was first formed, could flood the world if he wanted to. Lore wise, Neuvillette is probably the strongest character we know of, and are on friendly relations with.
I dont think Gnosis and Archon power are the same. Gnosis like said from Skirk are remains of the 3rd ascendant, like Traveler, he/she can freely use any element. The Archon power is the authority related to such element but with restriction, passed down to 7 Gods and they become the Archon of that element. Aside from Hydro Archon which was destroyed (thus becoming The Six), all other Archons still have their powers and authorities. IMO Gnosises are like tools to help Archon making overpower stuffs (Oratrices, Moras, Akasha system).
When playing through the AQ, I was like I can't wait to see Mina playing through it, knowing how much she loves Navia, Silver, and Melus... Been watching to see when you would post this. Thanks so much for posting the vods!
I'm glad to see someone who got equally upset and mad when we first betrayed Furina. I was so tempted to stop playing just because I don't want to put her to trial like that. The whole trial was so so difficult to go through. They were all so hostile, especially Neuvillette which was so unexpected, it hurts so much more.
People being upset and hostile at the person/god who's supposed to be protecting them seemingly doing nothing and instead spending her time acting like a diva, clamming up and not telling anyone anything of what she knows when lives are literally on the line is extremely understandable. Why would you be mad at characters behaving believably? Not to mention the Traveler never "betrayed" Furina since she never properly trusted them to begin with. You have to offer trust before it can be broken and, as the mind opera scene showed, she was never going to actually trust the Traveler and come clean. In fact at absolutely no point did Furina actually show any trust toward the Traveler, she always kept up the act as well as she could with a few exceptions but ultimately she was never really close to them. Which is good for the overall plan, but that decision IS what led to the whole trial. The conflict works here precisely because both sides had good reason to act the way they did while us looking from the outside in knew that neither side was really in the wrong. Being upset that the Traveler was mean to Furina in order to save hundreds or thousands of lives is a bit wonky. The player may feel inclined to understand and empathize with Furina, because we know there must be more going on than what meets the eye and we're more privy to the whole picture, but the Traveler literally only met the Archon a few times, the first time she tried to get them put on trial, the second time she accused their new friends and beyond that they acted as Furina's bodyguards at the most awkward tea party ever. When you realize that the Knave actually was more honest and opened up more than Furina ever did when she revealed her plans, her attack on Furina, what she found out from it AND gave them info to find the ruins that would ultimately reveal the truth of the prophecy you start to realize just how disconnected the Traveler really was from Furina. And that is by design, it's written that way on purpose. And that's all beside the fact that had the "betrayal" not happened, the whole plot would have caved in on itself and Focalors wouldn't have been able to put her plan into motion. I get sympathizing with Furina very much but a lot of people seem to forget to also take a moment to think about the situation from everyone else's perspective as well. It's neither the Traveler's fault for having to grill Furina nor Furina's for not being able to come clean -- neither party had true freedom to take action as they wanted, they were cornered by circumstances which was the whole point of the whole "fate" discussion. Or are we of the opinion that if we were to inconvenience a nice person for a few hours at most (remember that they didn't intend to actually give her the death sentence) in order to save literal human lives, we should not because that's not being nice?
This quest was AMAZING and makes other Archon Quests feel super mid (maybe except for Sumeru), the writing and the characters were sooo well done (I genuinely love the entire cast, and all of the VAs nailed it!), I was hella invested and experiencing the quest again with your stream was amazing as well! I'm a massive fan of Raiden (in every world) but Focalors & Furina took the stage phenomenally. Emotional Impact struck again while dropping a tsunami of lore. This quest really raised the bar for Archon Quests and Genshin's storytelling, it will be interesting to see if they can go even further

1:38:30 That's...was a very illuminating question. I though Amber's last name was "Gunnhildr" because of that Eula chara trailer where she sneezes and complains about "that Gunnhildr girl must be talking behind my back"...so I immediately though she was talking about Amber. Could Eula be referring to Jean instead? don't quite make sense, I don't think she would be speaking like that about her superior. Unless be that Amber is part of the Gunnhildr family, after her grandpa's death or related to Jean like a cousin......although, Amber, Jean and Eula are of similar age...maybe there is a friendly disposition amongst the 3 like that?
Jean is who Eula was referring to in the trailer. Amber is not part of the Gunnhildr clan. The whole "that Gunnhildr girl must be talking behind my back" comment only makes sense because it was Jean narrating the history of the clans mentioned in her trailer. Currently I think we're only aware of Barbara and Jean as descendants of the Gunnhildr family in the present time and Barbara isn't even a part of the clan currently.
Honestly, I doubt Celestia can do much. By the time they realised, Fontaine will be the first nation in Teyvat to be outside of their influence and fully under the control of the Hydro Dragon Sovereign. So far, the only nation to be under the protection and control of the Elemental Dragon Sovereign instead of an archon.
Celestial still can destroy fontaine if she want Neuvilette alone can’t do anything against her Celestial is at least equall phane who just đefeat nibelung the dragon sovereign king Neuvilette alone have no chance against her
@@vietcuongnguyenle8530 Sure, they can destroy Fontaine, and they may be equal to or even stronger than Neuvillette, but I still don't think they can destroy Fontaine Willy Nilly. Neuvillette is a fully-fledged Hydro Dragon Sovereign that has full control over not just all water but also the Primordial Sea and the Pneumousia energy. @@vietcuongnguyenle8530 I have no idea what nonsense you're talking about. I just simply said, Heavenly Principle might be stronger than the Neuvillette, the fully fledged Hydro Dragon Sovereign, and all of the archons combined, but Neuvillette, having regained his full authority, at least had enough "authority" to put Fontaine under his "authority," thus protecting the region for awhile before the Celestia did something. That's what I meant by Neuvillette having enough power. Beside, anything the Celestia does to Fontaine will rekindle the war between the ancient dragon and the Celestia; this risk is not just the secret they kept but also if other archons might have a similar plan to decieve them by taking advantage of the rekindled war. That's what I meant by "Unless Celestia is stupid". Let's not forget the Abyss, who wanted to engulf the heavenly throne; the Fatui, who want to overthrow Celestia for their own benefit; and the ancient dragon, who would love to regain back their elemental dragon authority. Also, what are the odds that all of the archons would try to deceive the Celestia too and do something similar (not saying it actually happened, just saying that the Celestia must actually consider such a possibility)?

For me personally, Japanese voice acting is the main one. And the phrase of the traveler - * Fine * in Japanese sounds with understanding and regret, but in English it sounds like a spit with resentment.
This is easily the best Archon quest to date. This is also accounting for recency bias. TBF, the story overall has definitely picked up after Ei's story quest 2 in my opinion. I do hold firm to the idea that the Inazuma arc could have been better if it had time to develop. Unfortunately, both the issue with Covid and the pressure of pushing the update early gave us what we have now. Regardless, I still consider this to be the best Archon quest to date and I'm super excited to see what's in store for us in Natlan. Lastly... MUST PROTECC FURINA!
So far this is the only quest that has given me a headache, I cried a lot and the lore bombs were mind blowing. 😊 Also seeing Skirk's appearance has me really excited as to what Gold looks like, if she's actually from the same area as Skirk then she probably has a very Honkai like appearance as well.

Neuvillette: So, the Oratrice's call for death was for neither Furina nor Focalors, but for the Hydro Archon.
"If no one has her back, the oratrice mecanique d'analyse cardinale does"
Damn, talk of timing...
It’s actually not confirmed either way for Dvalin and Azhdaha
Azhdaha is “lord of the geovishaps” and “older than the mountains” so it’s a very likely possibility
@@zalla00 dawg Neuvillette is also a vishap, dragons are still vishaps. Azhdaha is also referred to as a dragon king in his archives so…
@@chesedp2o23 King, not a Sovereign. Titles are clearly important in Genshin lore. But whatevs, im not gonna debate this. If you wanna believe Azhdaha is the Geo Sovereign then by all means, whether or not this'll stand true later on in the game's lore shall be seen.
@@zalla00 Apep is never straight up called a Sovereign either
I just noticed this now.
Childe's transformation named as "Foul Legacy"
Then, Skirk master's name is "The Foul"
Wait?!?!? Oh my god?!?!?
this mf has a damn long way to go before becoming any sort of Legacy lol
I give it until the Celestia fight before he comes a true inheritor of Foul
5:48:27 so, in russian subs, this "want to give it a try?" can also be interpeted as "want to have a taste?" soooo yeeeah, I fucking LOST IT!
didn’t expect to see a russian speaker on this channel haha
Best archon quest so far! Only issue was that I was seeing spoilers in chat 24/7
Love how Focalors said the "Anyway so I started blastin" line
Absolute facts. He is the only one so far with complete mastery of his element in the fullest form of the playable characters
3:32:16 Neuvillette wasn’t being mean he was just doing his standard court protocol.
When playing through the AQ, I was like I can't wait to see Mina playing through it, knowing how much she loves Navia, Silver, and Melus...
Been watching to see when you would post this.
Thanks so much for posting the vods!
Furina will always be my archon! 💙
it’s already 1am out here in my country, but binging 6 hrs vod is indeed what i will do. good morning in advance💀
Remember Poisson
A girl that will do anything for her people
A girl that will do *anything* for her people
This quest was AMAZING and makes other Archon Quests feel super mid (maybe except for Sumeru), the writing and the characters were sooo well done (I genuinely love the entire cast, and all of the VAs nailed it!), I was hella invested and experiencing the quest again with your stream was amazing as well! Your reactions were priceless, I could feel your attachment to the Fontaine cast! It was a tsunami of emotions for me! Such a wonderful stream
Essentially this quest:
Depression
Trial
MORE DEPRESSION
THE SADDEST DEPRESSION
VIBING LIKE HELL
5:14:50, I can feel Mina’s tears falling down.
Focalors: Hydron Dragon Hydro Dragon, Stand Proud Neuvillette, you are stong.
1:39:37 Yoimiya's full name is "Naganohara Yoimiya" as her connection to Inazuma's Naganohara Fireworks.
Imagine having
Naganohara
Yoimiya
in teeny tiny font by the side of the screen.
My God a 6-hour video?? Well just by seeing the caption, I can definitely agree this is arguably the best Archon Quest that Hoyoverse had to offer so far.
I'm starting to see you everywhere
I knew Mina would freak out during Navia and Clorinde dialog at the end.
Navia: Lost her loved ones, Depress af.
Venti: Wanna have anemo vision? 😅
Zhongli: *sigh* venti....🤦♂️
4:23:49 that was so fckin scary, the knock in both my ears, i was watching this at night and i got the scare of my life 😨😱
So glad to revisit this again, I’ve been so emotional ever since playing through myself. It’s so so good
I'm a massive fan of Raiden (in every world) but Focalors & Furina took the stage phenomenally. Emotional Impact struck again while dropping a tsunami of lore.
This quest really raised the bar for Archon Quests and Genshin's storytelling, it will be interesting to see if they can go even further
Missed your stream... AGAIN! Thanks for the VOD. Will listen to this in the background while working.
1:38:50 Amber's last name is February
Mina loves Skirk and Dudu? Skirk and Dudu have the same JP VA too. What a coincidence
You know what's funny, my bro said I act JUST like Mina. We both love Navia so dang much and we both ship her with Clorainde😅
I was watching it live from twitch, n i was so proud of our girl mina can do this in one sitting. 🎉🎉🎉
Harlequin's are known for their signature diamond patterns, I think Arlecchino's X eyes are a representation of that, just think of here eyes as the corner of 4 diamonds.

5:33:30 That scene had so much "anime season climax" energy, I can't wait for the anime to finally come out, I'll be watching so eagerly
Holy shit I thought Bran's 4+ hours was long. Still, been waiting for this since the trailer

“I thought I was playing Genshin Impact; not Honkai Impact…”
Oh boy, and she was only half an hour in to a Genshin story that is the closest thing to a Honkai story they have written yet.
Then prepare for Natlan, I have a feeling it will be worse
That and penacony too in Star Rail
oh yes. Mina vod dump. Finally, something to listen to while working my office job.
God I remember exploring Jeuyun Karst like 3 days ago in version 2.3 and now Im in fontaine shedding tears because of the rapid improvement of genshin's story
Whoa this is a long video, let’s endure it for Furina!
I literally cried when farina was guilty 😭😭 hhdcuheudhhehdjsdnjj
Take a shot for every time she said "baby"
Honestly, it's perfectly fine to feel bad for furina(everyone does), but this trial was necessary and a logical conclusion after everything that happened
Somethign I've not seen mentioned much is that Neuvilette has worked together with the "Oratrice" as a close companion that always agreed with his verdicts, having the same sense of justice as him for 500 years. So losing that companion would hurt quite a lot.
She has always been by his side 😌
im not sure if youll see this Mina, and it has prolly been brought up many times, but thought id say it just incase.
Skirks VA in japanese is the same as Dudu from 3rd. That is all.
God.
I quit Genshin about 18 Months ago when I got stuck at the Signiora Fight and yould not make progress. Seeing this story reminded me why I liked it back them. Maybe I'll tempt the grind.
4:30:39 "Anyway, so then I cursed her" timestamp 😂😏
Archons, in fact, hate their gnosis and everything related to current Celestia
Does anyone notice how Clorinde talks differently to different people?Clorinde's always so cold talking to other people but seems to be very soft-hearted while talking to Navia.
This stream is so heart wrenching especially seeing Furina talking the burden
I like your voice a lot, it's kinda deep which I like
1:38:30 That's...was a very illuminating question.
Thanks to Focalors/Furina and Neuvillette, Fontaine is a truly Gigachad nation. Screw to the Heavenly Principles and their hot Sustainer god
Celestial still can destroy fontaine if she want
Neuvilette alone can’t do anything against her
Celestial is at least equall phane who just đefeat nibelung the dragon sovereign king
Neuvilette alone have no chance against her
@@vietcuongnguyenle8530 Sure, they can destroy Fontaine, and they may be equal to or even stronger than Neuvillette, but I still don't think they can destroy Fontaine Willy Nilly. Unless Celestia is just stupid and doesn't care about the consequences, so many factions and people will use the opportunity to wage war against them. Neuvillette is a fully-fledged Hydro Dragon Sovereign that has full control over not just all water but also the Primordial Sea and the Pneumousia energy. Even if Celestia is stronger, Neuvillette is strong enough to put Fontaine under his protection. Remember the implied reason why Celestia stole the ancient dragon authority and created a gnosis from the remains of the third descender?
@@piereandreturner2818 nope
Not everyone have the courage like tsaritsa and khaenri’ah to against celestial
Beside, as long as they not find any way to achieve the power higher than celestial, start a rebelion is meaningless , this is not the kind of war they can win only by number
Consequence only happen if you weaker than what come to you, teyvat people can’t bring any consequence to celestial when they weaker than her
The weak have nothing to bring the thing called “ consequence” to the strong
celestial not stole the power of dragon to use for herself
She give them to the archon so they can gain enough power to rule teyvat ( and possible is for other purpose which we still not know )
But she not directly gain power from the power she take away from the dragon since she not use them for herself
HOLY CHEESE I WAS DOING SOME RESEARCH ABOUT THE LIYUE ARCHON QUEST I NEVER EXPECTED TO CAME ACROSS THIS. NOW IM CRYING AND THID IS A HUGE SPOILER FOR ME
Fun Fact. They use a Celestial Nail for Clorinde’s shirt buttons
Seeing Mina shitting on Inazuma while Kazuha is just right there is so funny 😂
Him saying Narwhal just gave me punishing grey raven flashback xD
I love Melus and Silver, but for me the best NPC is Jeht. I love her worldquest in SUMERU 😄
For me personally, Japanese voice acting is the main one. And the phrase of the traveler - * Fine * in Japanese sounds with understanding and regret, but in English it sounds like a spit with resentment.

Yo, I have watched this quest like a million times and only just now noticed focalors GIGANTIC cowlick.
Navia's crying face is so pretty~~~
YOU GET IT
Only Focalors and Hanachirusato have made me cry in this game.
The first voice actress was 100% topax
So far this is the only quest that has given me a headache, I cried a lot and the lore bombs were mind blowing. 😊
Also seeing Skirk's appearance has me really excited as to what Gold looks like, if she's actually from the same area as Skirk then she probably has a very Honkai like appearance as well. I also hope we start seeing the Hexenzirkel members rather then just hearing their voice.
This is probably my number one favorite story on genshin so far
Unironically my favorite part is the researchers couple 😂
Imagine celstia just waiting traveler to complete obtain his/her all element power so they could tear apart travelers body into new gnosis😂
Honestly, that would makes sense as to why Celestia has not interfered in the Traveler's Journey so far...
