UPDATE TUESDAY 4/2/24: Dan has been mentally sharp as a tack since he got to his room from surgery last night. He slept well, with no pain. The hospital staff has been fantastic. ❤️ He has had a good breakfast and lunch, which made him very happy, as you can imagine. 😊 He has walked a mile in the halls, and the staff physical therapist tested him, and found him fit to discharge, at his doctor’s discretion. He says he’s feeling much better than he did yesterday when he checked in. The only thing keeping him here is his doctor…and the tempting menu. 😂 So grateful for all the love, prayers, good wishes and support, Panda People! ❤🐼❤

As someone who works with dying people, it never ceases to amaze me how fast people go. This was only in end of March, almost April and he’s gone by July!😢

Dr. Dan has been my chiropractor for decades now. He fixed me every time I had a muscle skeletal issue. He recently fixed my hip pain that persisted for 3 years. If you are in pain, take his course!

No one wants to be sick or disabled. But it happens. So be kind to people Dr. Dan is right we all have own battles. Just some you can see and others are hidden. They don't need pity but maybe can use some help, ask them first. Some may not want but kind word or smile goes long way. Panda hugs to Dr. Dan.
@jewelleryaddict Your comment made me emotional because yes, I look very healthy, but I suffer from severe social anxiety, depression and panic attacks, and people just don't understand that every single day is a STRUGGLE! In my brain, there's a 24/7 war going on, and it's really taking its toll on me..Some ppl will ask me to go out and dance all night knowing that it's not even a possibility, it's become a joke but it's not funny at all..Dr Dan has helped me more than any Therapist I've worked with, he is such an inspiration that I can't even put what he's done for me into words! Even taking 00 tiny steps at a time, like getting the mail..or walking my baby yorkie and I challenge myself to try just a little more each day and I'm doing it.! I've paid thousands and thousands of dollars to Psychiatrist, Psychologist and therapist for them to just add another medication! Honestly, Dr. Dan is the absolute kindest, sweetest, most positive man, and it's not fake he's so down to earth and one of the most genuine human beings I've ever known! I hope, and I pray he beats this, and I truly believe if anyone can, he will.. I just love him to pieces! There's not many ppl like him in this world, but I really wish there were! ❤ You sound like a very sweet caring person yourself.. Dr Dan you are the most amazing person I've seen on you tube. You truly are an inspiration. I just lost my dad to cancer, and I lost my mom to cancer 12 years ago. I feel so lost with out them. Watching you gives me strength and I'm sure many others who have love ones battling this horrible disease.
Dan I’ve had Crohn’s disease for 30 years. There were literally weeks I didn’t eat a single solid food because I was on TPN/Nil by Mouth. I’d sit with others on the ward and just describe the most delicious food, almost always with a texture/crunch because we just craved it. Until you’ve experienced it, it’s hard to describe how it works on the brain/dopamine release chewing food does. Wishing you all the strength. Happy Easter! I’ve also had a colostomy so I know that road well. Stray strong lots of love and support from Poland. 🇵🇱

If it were toxic positivity you'd need to be pushing a certain position onto someone else that they don't necessarily want to receive. But how you treat your own situation and share that with others as it stands with your health, and outlook- is entirely up to you. You're sharing your personal journey re cancer recovery and how your communicate it is yours to champion. No matter how "positive" or not. I love your positivity. Hi Dan. I wish you well on your journey.. I watched your channel now for a while now. What an inspiration . I'm from the UK and went through my own cancer journey. I do admit it's very scary when you're told something like that. I had no symptoms only a painless lump on my neck then I discovered it was lymphoma. In my experience it does change your way of thinking in life, it's so precious 😊. All the best to you and your recovery. The panda warrior.

It's not hard to say a couple kind words. It's what helped get me through. You have some pretty cold unkind uncaring people out there.

@tiamorar You just gave my husband and I quite a chuckle! I haven't read The Velveteen Rabbit in ages, loved it when I was a little girl! I think I have my childhood book in a box somewhere. I might have to dig it out! As for the 🐇 nickname, my husband gave it to me when we got married 10 years ago. I call him 🐿 Squirrel. Well, get some sleep and tomorrow morning when you're enjoying coffee/tea on the patio, with Vanilli basking in the morning sun, share this cute meet with your sweet son. Dear Dan, I am Polish but living in UK. I have become tea expert now :) Tetley is not my favourite but Yorkshire Tea is really tasty. If you ever wanted to try, happy to send it to you :) In England tea solves all the problems. Sending love :)

@ValerieGriner I have looked online and it looks like you have got Yorkshire Tea in Walmart. Of course I am happy to send it to Dan if needed :) I will be in US in May ( first time in my life) so I could take some with me and send it via your postal services there. Unfortunately I will not be in Texas but California :(

I had an ileostomy following removal of the whole colon due to a tumour and i remember the joy of being able to eat again!

Hi Dan. I wish you well on your journey.. I watched your channel now for a while now. What an inspiration . I'm from the UK and went through my own cancer journey. I do admit it's very scary when you're told something like that. I had no symptoms only a painless lump on my neck then I discovered it was lymphoma. In my experience it does change your way of thinking in life, it's so precious 😊. All the best to you and your recovery. The panda warrior.
