#Giftbox #MenofMedal
Almost forgot these things existed. Thanks for the reminder,Michael. I love Mini-Figs.
My brother and I had several of these and I still have them in my collection (minus several accessories). FYI the two coast guard figures in the video swapped medals. HH "Boom-Boom" Hailey (red outfit, brown goggles) is the rescue crewman. Penn "Piranha" Jones (red outfit, white diving mask) is the frogman. The backpacks are in the correct medals. Boom-Boom has the regular one and Piranha has the oxygen tank one : )
Thanks for this video and thanks to the person that donated these toys. A friend of mine had these in grade school late 80s early 90s. He even wore them in his shirt pocket. These little guys were lost in seconds on the playground and school bus. I remember playing with these and seeing them for sale at the local Hills store. I could not for the life of me remember the name of these figures or Savage Mondo Blitzers, thanks internet!
NEVER heard of these...so cool!
You and me, both. I've heard of a lot of toy lines, but this one went under the proverbial radar.
I love how the medals look inside the vehicle
Good job showing the commercial. That was the only thing I remembered about this line. Way to go Robbie!! Very Cool!!
They're a really fun set to collect. Not easy to find all of them but fairly reasonably priced, especially when they're loose.
I remember these, but I was out of this stuff by this point. But it does remind me of an even cooler line, Army Gear.
I can imagine a kid getting one of these for getting good grades on his/her report card. " You got straight A's son?! Here's a medal. Look, it also has an action figure in it."
Fantastic. I had these and truthfully forgot about them, as they weren’t around long even when they were new.
How cool! What an awesome contribution! I vaguely remember those. Seems like the type of thing I would’ve liked.
Just discovered these recently and it’s unlikely I’ll ever own any of these but I love these, really cool idea from Mattel
Mike,
Love all of those! I do not think I have ever heard of these much less have seen any!👍. Congratulations those are cool.😁👍
Yes...I learned something new, as always...love watching you sir...thumbs up as always bro....
Wow. I like the Mask/Dino Riders scale so that is cool. I've never heard of them before.
This would make a good blind bag concept today. I think I remember them. I never had them likely because they didn't fit in with my other toys.
I watch your videos every weekend, I've made them an important part of my having fun. Your attitude is exactly what we need right now, please keep this up. You're like a legit idealistic Santa Claus for kids who grew up 30-40 years ago haha
Thank you TooNu! Much appreciated. 🙏
Maybe because they're wearable these guys put me in mind of Ring Raiders, the jets-on-rings Matchbox did, I used to have a few of those and they're something I'm always low-key looking out for at toy fairs (which are finally restarting here in Sydney, I'll be masking up to go to one on Sunday... heh, Mask. "Vehicle codename: public transport.")
nice Tron shirt
Nice Tick reference. ;-) I have only a vague memory of these, but don't remember ever seeing them in department stores. I only remember seeing them at KB and some local discount stores, and obviously they were sold at TRU judging by the price tags. I was most definitely buying Transformers, G.I.Joes, and Ninja Turtles in '89 over the lesser known lines of the time and if I had to choose I probably would have picked the Galoob Army Gear line from '88 which had medals that turned into vehicles over these.
Those are awesome. Don’t remember these at all😎👍
those look really cool
Never heard of this line
Keep make awesome videos
Loving all that Chrome! These look great.
Holy cow I had one of these!!!
Interesting, I got that tank in a box of hand-me-downs as a kid and never what it was. And I was wondering if those figures compare to the megacontrux figures?
Ooooohhhhhhh snnnnnnaaap !
I forgot those guys!
As a green army men and Joe lover, I definitely was in love with these guys.
.....it explains my willingness to buy the Call of Duty megablox figures.
Lookin dope
Really cool!
Cool vid., and brings back plenty of memories. Personally, I had Sharpshooter, Bomb Expert, Deep Diver, and Paratrooper (loose/no medal in this set). These were conveniently sized to sneak into Catholic mass 😉
Cool! Nice to see someone actually had some of these back then. :D
So are they supposed to be miniaturised men who ride around in regular sized soldiers’ medals, or are they regular sized men who ride giant medals for some reason? 🤔
cool
"Mask I Joe" as I said on Instagram
Of course the Russian character from an 80s toyline is the bad guy.
