Despite her education and being the most educated character on the show (besides Taylor), she is naive. I remember when she asked Katie to perform her wedding to Nick, while completing missing the fact that Katie was in love with Nick.
@@DevikaK100She wasn’t educated during this episode. She’s barely out of high school here. Rick is still in college. Whether she’s played by Jennifer Finnigan or Ashley Jones, Bridget is always portrayed as foolish and pitiful. Bradley Bell made her a tragic character instead of a heroine.
9:40 When the siblings Rick and Bridget kinda realize that their kids won't be cousins but half-siblings, now that Bridget has married little Eric's/D's biological dad.😅 Amber: _See, this whole thing is just too confusing to get into_
Listening to their conversation is so confusing for casual fans. Amber talks about her pregnancy here. A casual viewer would assume that Little Eric is Amber & Deacon’s child. But it’s a whole nother can of worms. To think that casual fans would have to be filled in on Becky’s backstory just to understand who Little Eric even is. As if Bridget’s own paternity isn’t confusing enough (just four years prior, she was “Ridge’s daughter”). Now, she’s discussing having mixed cousin/half-siblings with her brother’s sort-of “son.” Then, her Mom has a baby with Deacon who becomes her son’s half-sister. It’s just too convoluted. The real Eric Forrester III really just should’ve survived and been a normal child. It would’ve saved the show from so much nonsense.
And even if Amber and Ric were to have a child, technically it still wouldn’t be Eric’s sibling but their cousin since Amber is first cousins with his real mother. They have Eric calling both Ric and deacon daddy but referring to Bridget as “Aunty”. I would have loved to see how they explained this to him when he got older and how his “mommy” is actually his mothers cousin.

Of course it's the perfect time for _him._ But he's not asking whether Amber might ever want to do something with her life besides being his housewife.

With Rick and Amber talking about giving Brooke and Eric another "grandchild," it's ironic that they wouldn't be grandparents until almost 10 years later. And Brooke would get pregnant at least 3 more times: once with Hope, then with RJ and then with Bill's child (but she miscarries). Let's not forget that her egg fertilizes Taylor's baby with Nick. This woman will probably have babies when she's 85.
It is ironic that in 2001 I felt that Bridget was too young and naive to have a child (with the wrong guy, Deacon), but in 2010, when Bridget finally became a mother to a healthy child and the circumstances were a total mess then too, I thought the writers had dragged it out too long - Bridget's baby sister Hope then already SORASed to a young woman of 18 years. 😅🤣
Ric here is talking about how he wants to give his parents another grandkid yet Brooke has spent zero time with him and doesn’t even claim him as family smh.
@@lil_jon411They were vague about Brooke’s relationship to Little Eric during this era. I liked it when she was a doting grandma when they believed he was the real Eric III. Then after the reveal, you never see Brooke having anything to do with him. Partially because Rick and Amber broke up at that time. However, pretty soon they start having more scenes of Little Eric at Brooke’s house as well as at the Forrester house. The writers were unsure what to do with him at this point. Once Hope was born, he was pretty much gone permanently because it would be too confusing/incest to have both Little Eric and Hope. However, now, I think it would be interesting to bring him back as an adult.
