These tips are so helpful I made it to plat 2 but ended up going back to plat 3 then 2 again this video will be the one to help me, keep up the good work
The biggest problem I've noticed is a lot of people can not multi task. Surprisingly, if some people are in a gunfight, they either stay silent, they don't ping, or a combo of both. It's a huge detriment to the team success and that moment.
Because things like aiming take a lot of focus, communicating while being in combat requires a lot of muscle memory and prediction
good tips for the most part, tho being the leader is pretty hard when your teammates have no awareness, or they simply don't want to follow, idk if it's just my lobbies but i somehow end up with teenagers that don't want to be told where to go, and do their own thing lol
That'll always happen. Can't control that. It's much easier to guide your team than you think. I do it every time I solo q

"Be the leader of your team." Its not that simple for everyone.
People follow a capable leader. Someone who has a master/pred badge flashed, is dropping 10+ kills in one game, is winning all of their gunfights and has insane movement? OF COURSE teammates who are lesser skilled will follow. The issue is a lot of us want to have pred/master egos and be team leader when our teammates are on the same level or are better. Its obvious why scrappy wouldn't have issues leading the team, and why YOU would. Those "teens" are probably just people who play on your level or better and have a better judgment of your gameplay based on their own skill. You can't lead a team who doesn't see you as a leader. You have to get to insanely cracked levels to get that kind of authority almost every game. The disconnect between the average player base and the pro player experience is so obvious in some pros when hearing them give tips like this.
@@danielsmall2037 i agree with some stuff you said, but others you're making assumptions, like my teammates are on my level or better, you're giving the matchmaking too much credit, and you're giving randos too much benefit of the doubt (from their actions its clear that they kind of play the game on auto pilot, making judgement about my gameplay is probably the last thing on their mind unless they are a better player or believe that they are) 8/10 i get teammates who are worse than me, who are delusional and think landing with 10 squads with no loot will somehow help them get better. Don't get me wrong tho i'm not claiming to be highly skilled i might just be bad, partly because i don't play apex as much. and there are matches where i do get teammates that perform same as me or better and they actually pay attention to my pings. I also agree getting that authority is just impossible in every single match, i'd argue even if you're cracked, there's always some people that look at apex as you drop hot die and play next match (and i mean in ranked not even in pubs) which sucks but it is what it is.

the most game wins is when I am IGL, whenever I follow others I keep dying , and I don't want to shout it loud to follow me, some follows me and we win, some go on their own and I follow them and we mostly lose, exceptions are of two teammates being pred and communicating through discord

Can you go more in depth for tip 2? (When ur supposed to be IGL)
The movement based legend tip is the biggest dog tip I've ever heard, playing the legend you do best with is who you should play, if your team picks all movement legends, then maybe picking gibby or caustic isn't best yeah, but chosing gibby or caustic when you have more campy characters, it's a lot better than picking someone like octane or wraith. Pick you legends based on what your team picks, this can be used in solo queing too

Dude i can't explain how important the first tip is, I've had games where my teammates are looting or fighting a squad outside the last ring, and once i text in chat "RING" they're instantly like "oh shit really 😲!?" I've had sooooo many games where my teammates just take too long looting or something to the point where i give up trying to revive them, knowing fully well they'll keep dying over and over again in the ring and I'll die too if i revive them

Here's the reason why I stopped this video at tip 2.
Majority of the player base SHOULDNT even think to IGL. Wtf? Your second tip is to be an igl? Are you not catering to the masses? 90% of the player base is shit. Now we gonna have a bunch of noobs who think they should automatically try and "lead" the team whenever they solo queue. The tip SHOULD be to humble yourself and let somebody else hold the reigns
