I would like to see a detail video on how you wired up that Power Plug and the ON/OFF A1UP Switch. I'm interested in how the HOT/NEUTRAL/GROUND go into the back of the Power Plug plus all of those Jumper Wires...and then the 2 Wires to the A1UP ON/OFF Switch. Thanks.
you should install the new yoke with the old backplate of the arcade1up yoke, as this gives you the extra strength. if you use it without, the bolts can work themselves into the wood behind the control panel, and your new yoke will become loose then. also you damage the arcarde1up control panel with this earlier.
thats a great point, I should have re-used A1up back plate for support. I think I got too excited about adding the extra buttons but this is a fantastic point and would recommend adding this step into the tutorial. thanks!
Mr. Kong! After watching, I am still surprised that I have that "sleeping" problem with regard to the GRS yoke. It has to be a setting in Windows, No?! Also, did you make any changes to your Mouse settings in Windows Control Panel for the yoke that allowed it to be more responsive (it doesn't even appear you need to power it ON and/or while holding down the K7 button in order to put it in Mouse/Gamepad mode). I am confused and it won't be until the weekend where I can troubleshoot further. Any tips would be appreciated. BTW, I was orienting my spade plugs incorrectly in my crimper and never knew why the MALE connectors didn't crimp! Also what emulators are you using for your Launch/Big Box build...MAME, PS2, N64, Dreamcast, Supermodel...any others?! When I play Star Wars Trilogy using Supermodel, the yoke response is really slow... Thanks again! Brent
you know, I actually haven't played too much with mouse mode at all. I used my yoke completely in joypad/joystick mode and it works great. if I need it to register as a mouse for some emulators, I use JoyToKey to map an Advanced Mouse Mode setting and spring mode. sorry can't be more helpful but try the regular mode instead of mouse mode if that helps!
I have the Arcade1Up Star Wars Arcade Machine with Riser Model #7707 (from BestBuy), I saw your great video ... however I am not sure my unit is matched as your video (it already has the GRS flight Yoke plus 2 buttons ON/OFF and VOL )? If YES, please detail the Monitor unit (at 1:24) so I can order the right one! Thanks in-advanced
For the marquee power, I ordered the converter and female to female connector. The female to female from the direct link in description is a bit smaller than the y cable and marquee cable so it doesnt fit. Is there an alternate recommendation for a no wire config?

I've been meaning to do a dedicated tutorial on this so hope to work on that soon

How do you set the yoke to be used with the big box ui? I’m having issues making it work to navigate the menus
can the grs yoke be lubricated? my yoke seems to have more friction turning left. is this common?
