WHAT Fate is literally a masterpiece 😭
In Bite me I think I would say that they were chanting more than rapping. You most remember that they are vampires and they can hypnotize you and make you do what they want you to do, which is to kiss and bite them.
My only complaint is that I wish it was king and Sunoo had more lines. I feel like a bridge and final chorus would of instantly made it soty for me.
The rest of the album is amazing. My favorites are sacrifice (eat me up) & bills.

lots of people have different ideas but I think this album is very into story and the Era is the "dark blood" the concept film covers in a short way the story up to know (it may or may not be in an alternate time line or universe) The story goes like this: long ago in another Universe they were knights in service to a princess. Due to a power struggle in the kingdom she gains powers that make her the first Vampire. In that timeline she shares her powers with them, turning them into vampires. To protect them she sends the boys into the future. There they grow up in an orphanage and slowly gain their powers, when they reach the age at which they were transformed. The princess is reincarnated into the new timeline and the story begins again. The main thing to remember is that they got their powers from the girl and to end their torment they need to return the power back to her. That is why Jay just stands there waiting to get bitten. It's not that they want to kill the girl they just want to end the curse while Sunghoon is not ready to give up his powers. The pineapple cans are a symbol from another movie, In that movie when the last buy date happened and the main guy ate the pineapples (on May1) then the guy would accept that his relation ship was over. That is what Sunghoon finally does he said "Bite Me" to end the curse by giving the girl back her powers.
All the songs in the new album on some level are about this struggle. It's about loss, love, sacrifice and accepting one's fate to move on.
They were all vampires. She was the one who turned them and gave them their powers. What you see here is her taking back all that power with Sunghoon's help.
I will assume that the other members didn't want to give back their powers to her.

I stayed up to watch the premiere of the MV. ENHYPEN slayed the song for me. The visuals, vocals and the chore 🔥🥰. The back up dancers 😫. Amazzzingg😂. It went too fast😂. Thank you for reacting 💕

Sacrifice is rank one on my list for Dark Blood album. It suit my type of vibe. Like you said, chill vibe. Fate is splendid for me but I also wished it was a full length song, however I still enjoy it.

Hi, I am back. Good reaction(Bite Me), ty. The song was not bad on 1st listen. I planned to give it more listens. I like one part of the chorus but the other throws me off. After 10 listens it is growing on me. Love the visuals. Loved seeing the female dance crew. Great fits and makeup. Heard Ni-ki choreographed the chorus of this. They went to Poland for this song so cool. In the oldest castle in Europe. Many in Korea are really closed minded. This is the 1st time the guys have an all female dance crew. It's a big deal. But i am happy about it. Ni-ki floating in the chair is so cool. My man Sunghoon so handsome. Yes, the whole MV is storyline. This is not the start of the storyline just a continuation. The storyline is explained better in the webtoon. It's latin beat somewhat and some choreo is latin influenced too. Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army💟

If the jaywon part was a rap verse, Fate would've been my favorite song of this year. Why the intros always make me crazy? The melody, beat, mood. Everything is perfact except the fact that they are intros! I hate HIBE. But still, I love EN- so desperately😢
i also didn't get Fever vibes from Sacrifice. what i got immediately was Bts House of Cards vibes. Chill, creepy and sexy.

only one thing i don’t like it’s so short and i feel as though it needs a bridge like it sounds incomplete they’ve been doing that recently but 💀
