I love both of P-Loise's and the Anastasia primers, I tend to like them both for different things depending on what I'm doing it but I feel like when I 1st used the Anastasia, I didn't like it as much because I felt like it was a lot more dry than the P-Loise, But now what is one of my court favorites I got used to the formula and I couldn't imagine not using that primer! Same goes for the P-Loise, When I 1st started using it getting used to the moisture and the tacky vase was a little bit of a learning curve but now I love it because of the vibrant looks I get with it! There's just something about that formula that gives it such a kick when you're used to using it but I think that's the thing with a lot of formulas sometimes it's just a learning curve are getting used to it I think they both hold their own in their own way and they are the 2 best primers on the market for sure
I absolutely love your guts! I love that you don't look for look easy way out you go for the hardest thing in you want to really get to the bottom of things! You are a true talent
Omg I really needed this video because I’ve always contemplated if I should get it, but it’s a bit pricey, so I use the ABH eye primer all the time too. Thank you for comparing them! The eye look is bomb! NikkieTutorials puts the base on her beauty blender and wipes it over her eye, not sure if that method is great or not. Sometimes I get creasing with the ABH primer and I’m not sure how to stop that. I’m interested to see if the Vaseline cut crease trick works for you, I’ve seen a lot of people do that to take off the color underneath.
I wonder how a sponge works! I never thought to try that. It might be how much you're using with the ABH! Not sure when it creases, but sometimes if i dont put shadow on it right away itll crease a little and i just tap it out with my finger.
I have to say with the PLuise base, you are suppose to pack then blend . But I bought several shades myself and I even have the ABH primer but I can’t use it on darker skin. I actually love the Nars soft matte. Works on everyone and it comes in way more colors. Great review and comparison .
Isnt it supposed to be tapped on? I watched so many videos and it was hard to figure out what was the best method. I'll have to look into the NARS Soft Matte! ive heard great things about it!
Giiirrrllll, I'm so happy you used this palette.... I love mine so much!!!! I have been debating on getting the P Louise base. I use the NYX Proof It eye primer and I love it!!
@@BreyonnaFaye No, it's not thick... it's more of like a lotion consistency I would say. I just put a little on with the doe foot applicator and then blend it out with my finger. It's pretty sticky and dries down pretty quickly. It works so well at keeping my shadows on all day and really doesn't cause any creasing. I don't think it would work for the cut crease part, though.
I love this video & look (Joker Vibes 💜) thank you for the comparisons! I have both eye primers, I usually use more ABH primer on a regular bases and the P.L primer for more special occasions (idkw 😂) but I love both and have had no problems with them 🙂
Thank you for this video!! I got this a year ago and wanted to love it because everyone gets such gorgeous looks with it. I don't know if I was doing something wrong but I watched a lot of videos and had the same results you did. I did a look with one eye with my normal concealer and the other with Plouise and the concealer looked so much better, I asked my hubby which side looked better and he picked the concealer side and said it looked so much better. After watching your videos for so long I've been wanting to try the ABH one, after seeing you compare the two I'm definitely going to try it.

@@BreyonnaFaye I feel like I'm getting close to finding the perfect white primer to use for colors like yellow. Hey Breyonna, first of all THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing this video because these are the 2 products I want to try for base! I absolutely love Anastasia, they one of, if not my favorite brand, and I've heard such good things about P.Louise. I wanted to give some feedback based on the P.louise training video on her site, is you should be using pitta pat pat pat motion with the base on the eyelid, not so much a painting motion. If you don't pita pat, the base can mix with the eyeshadow, which is why I think it looks lighter on your cut crease on the p.louise side. I would be curious to see if the base looks better with the pitta pat motion on the cut crease. Just some feedback. I'll definitely have to try this and compare the 2 when I get them. Thanks again. As always, looking good.
I was wanting to advise this as well.. also, with the shadows, they have to be applied differently as well. You have to first, press the pigment onto the skin, then blend out.. so no windshield swipe motion to begin with. Then with the cut crease, they suggest you use vaseline or micellar water to remove the primer & remaining shadow, then reapply primer & shadow. That's how you get a super snatched cut crease. There's definitely a much different technique to using the plouise primer, but I believe that's how you achieve the much crisper cut crease. I hope that wasn't confusing!
Really pretty green shadow! Even though I can get the PL cheap from the UK (my cousin can get it for me) it doesn't seem like something for a beginner, especially if it doesn't spread or takes time to dry.
Love the abh primer. I haven’t bought the p Louise base because I don’t like how thick it seems. And I keep telling myself I don’t need that palette but it’s so pretty!! I’ve got several purple palettes, this one is just so appealing for some reason.
I wasnt expecting it to be as thick as it is honestly! I actually thought it was going to be a little bit runny. The Morphe 39S I believe is on sale on Morphe's website right now. I think its like $22 the last I looked!
I've honestly never tried either one I just use milani eye primer cause I'm broke it works pretty good but I'd love to try them both! I love how you compared them in the same video! Can't wait to see what's next

Usually I’ve seen people that use the plouise clean the crease with Micellar water first, then cut the crease with the plouise and that Makes the base look clean and not mix with any other color etc 😊
Plouise primer seems to be one that needs to be set or you have to use a very light transition shade first in order to not have that weird grabbing of the shadows.
You should try the colored ones buy that brand and put them up against the beauty creations ones. I need some more opinions on which are better because sir because I heard they are just as good. I just got the entire set from p.louise of 14 for 71.00 on sale, reg almost 200
Great video but that’s not blank canvas that’s just a plouise base, blank canvas is thick and used to cut the crease and is actually just a shade name for a crisp finish product 😘

The reason I love PLouise is because you can leave it out and go to work and then come back and then finish your eye (not that you would) and IT IS STILL TACKY. ABH dries up too quick

it gives me anxiety when someone slowly blends out there eye primer cause I know when it's sets how bad it looks if you didn't blend it out fast enough lol😂 although you did just fine obviously I don't know why it gives me anxiety like that
Actually… p.louise’s blank canvas is one of their cosmetic paints, not their bases. You are using their eye base but not their paints so technically it’s not “blank canvas”. Just wanna point that out. Great video as always!
i have not! ive heard great things about it though! only reason i havent tried it is because the shade available looks like itd be super dark on my skin tone
Hey, i have the plouise base and its best applied with a flat brush and a packing and motion and a tapping over the base helps "set" the base deffo check out the plouise pages for extra tips ^_^ also been following you a while now ^_^
The ploise base is a bit different than regular bases, you need to pack the shade you’re using on to your eye and then blend. I’ve seen a lot of reviews on it and that was the one most common mistakes I’ve seen with this product.
Every single look you create is just pure art!

Actually… p.louise’s blank canvas is one of their cosmetic paints, not their bases. You are using their eye base but not their paints so technically it’s not “blank canvas”. Just wanna point that out. Great video as always!
my bad!
Have you tried the elf putty eye primer?
i have not!
Have you tried Gerard cosmetics eye primer??
i have not! ive heard great things about it though! only reason i havent tried it is because the shade available looks like itd be super dark on my skin tone
I bought the pink colored eye base and it was real thin
was it full coverage? or patchy?
Awesomeness 👌👌
Thanks 🤗
I didn't enjoy using the p.louise base it just grabbed the eyeshadows too much. After watching this I'm gonna give it a second chance
im glad im not the only one who experienced that! i feel like there's a learning curve to it that I havent gotten yet
Hey, i have the plouise base and its best applied with a flat brush and a packing and motion and a tapping over the base helps "set" the base deffo check out the plouise pages for extra tips ^_^ also been following you a while now ^_^
i'll try to find a few videos on their page! thanks!
@@BreyonnaFaye youre welcome hun ^_^ keep up the creativity:3

I don’t think this is called blank canvas babe haha, Blank canvas is the MMMitchell acid reign...
my bad!
Breyonna Faye hahaha no worries :3
The ploise base is a bit different than regular bases, you need to pack the shade you’re using on to your eye and then blend. I’ve seen a lot of reviews on it and that was the one most common mistakes I’ve seen with this product.
I'll have to try that next time.
To me it looks like harsh lines?
How so?
@@BreyonnaFaye when blending on p Louise side it seemed not as smooth but end look looked same
that's how i felt too tbh. the first shade i used looked the worst though. harsh line and chunky city.
@@BreyonnaFaye would gv me anxiety 😂 🤣
