- This is my first time reaction to a stunning BTS songs Blue&Grey and Telepathy they performed along Fix You from Coldplay on MTV unplugged. Truly beautiful pieces, where we got to hear all the members of BTS singing live. I loved it from Vocal Coach & Professional Singer Reaction point of view but mostly, it was a heartwarming version, vulnerable song about their inner battles and a really amazing bop. Showing all the emotions range, well sang with beautiful settings. Enjoy BTS army!

if you're looking for amazing vocals and stage presence, you have to react to Mamamoo (they really have the best vocals in kpop)! If you just want happy bops with many different vocal types blended so well + dynamic stage performance, you may try Seventeen. If you want something a bit quirky but also crazily talented try G-idle! All of the three groups I mentioned are also heavily involved in their own music, which is still not often found in K-Pop :) but you can also just simply react to BTS first cause they still have a lottttttt more to offer! ^^ for blue and grey they softened and slowed their voices, I find that it means yoongi and jhope voices can sound similar. Both have such distinctive voices when they rap more aggressively/excitedly, even in telepathy their is much more distinction
Blue and Gray was initially written by V for V. I found it interesting when you were talking about how comfortable they are singing in their upper range because you were paused on him, the only baritone vocalist. It’s amazing how well he keeps up with the other tenors’ vocal range. You mentioned that his vocal tone is also quite unique. I believe it has to do with how deep, rich, and soulful his voice is.
Exactly. V composed and wrote it for his mixtape, it was even originally in English but the other members liked it and decided to make it part of their BE album.

What I find so endearing that almost every vocal coach and music critic always fall for Jimin’s voice. Every time he would come on they would all just smile and pause. Jimin’s voice is very often praised for its unique honey tone and he totally deserves it! I hope you react to his solo songs like Lie one of my favorites - he also wrote the lyrics of it!

@@Katriinka Katriinka, can you explain if it is possible for a singer to be taught Jimin's technique of 'placing' his voice in a unique location creating that unusual and arresting sound?
@@carolgardens7294 technique can be always learned, color of your voice is given (you can manipulate it a little bit, f.e. singing more nasal or lowering your voice slightly.) his technique is super sustainable, he can sing like this for years, cause he doesnt push into his voice/ overwork his vocal chords...so a very good technique to learn indeed :) while his placement, breath management, and voice support can be learned, count on your own voice color, so the result will not be 100 percent identical, but please do not forget...your voice is beautiful and unique the way it is

“ I wanna hug him” yeah , I wanna hug you for saying that 💜 . I feel you completely when Jimin sings or is on screen everytime, he flutters my heart 💜. In blue and grey you can feel the emotion coming through, he awesomely delivers in his performances too , check out Jimin’s LIE especially the concert one, you could feel the character he pulls out in the performance 🎭

jimin voice is unique. In this cover his voice did give me a feeling. that I can't describe it in words. His emotions reach me through his voice and translate in tears in my eyes. it was a magical moment for me. And now I need to be fixed this cover can't get of my head
When I hear Jimin I think that an Angel is singing to me and suddenly everything around me turns white and I have a smile plastered all over my face..his voice is just so pure 😢

@13:15 that’s Jin and you can check out his solos Epiphany, Awake, Moon live performances. Epiphany is my personal favorite Jin really brings the emotions to the lyrics beautifully. Also V has the widest range amongst the vocalists, baritone but can hit crazy high notes..check out his live performance solo Stigma to get the full grasp of what he can do. V is my bias, love his vocal tone, so soulful I feel what he sings deep in my bones! 💜

Blue & Grey was originally written by V aka Kim Taehyung (the first & last singer here) for his unreleased solo mixtape. He was feeling depressed and down when he wrote this song to comfort himself. However, the other members heard it and asked if he allowed them to record it together for their new album BE.

Jimin’s voice is literally my favorite thing in the entire world. My soul leaves my body every time Jimin sings. It’s just so soothing, honey-like, smooth, angelic, and crystal clear. Whenever he sings I can feel the emotion in his voice. I love how he interprets the message of the songs from his voice to facial expressions. His vocals will always give me CHILLS EVERY SINGLE TIME...that’s my favorite performer. Overall they all sounded amazing. All the harmonizing was just *chiefs kiss* They killed it like always. A MASTERPIECE of a show.

Blue&Grey is my song. It's the song of my sadness and my pain. I wish that V had the full song in English just sung by him as he had planned and created it. The guys liked it so much that they decided to turn it into a group song with the corean parts too.
Suga's rap is soft and solemn.
J-hope's is gentle, like he's the one picking you up after being battered and bruised after battle.
And RM's is powerful, almost cheery, like go at it again. You can do it.

11:25 this is V and he was serious in Blue&Grey because he wrote this song (except for rappers verses, rappers always write their own lyrics). Blue&Grey means a lot to him
The main songwriter and composer of Telepathy is Suga, this song is for ARMY (fans)

It was re-written by a few of the members, not just the rap verses. They have talked about Suga contributing to the chorus as well. They re-wrote the song once they decided it was going to be on a BTS album.

Then Jimin has surprised us with his strong, rustic sexy & growling voices in ‘Danger’ & ‘Bulletproof p.2’ live performances!
Not to mention his voice in ‘Dream Glow’.
In that song he has shown just another type of strength in his sexy & magnetic vibes of his voice that captures our attention once more.

Most of the time I think of “vulnerable”. 95% of the songs he features on, I think he brings tons of “vulnerability” and/or an “intimate sensation”. But I like “fragile” as well. It’s true and one of the reasons we want to protect and hug him 🥺

Oh girl you got it bad. I see you potentially falling down the rabbit hole. Jimin is the angelic one that seems to have caught your eye. Jimin is also mesmerizing dancer; he was a dancer before he became a vocalist and had training in both hip hop/pop ‘n’ lock and technical/contemporary. (Not something you necessarily have to react to, but you can find a lot of videos watching men fall for what we call “The Jimin Effect”, which may give you some amusement. No matter your gender, age, color, whatever...Jimin be snatchin’ them left and right, collecting hearts like Pokémon.)
All the members are incredible and have their own talents and stand out moments. Jin, the one with the pink mic is an incredibly powerful vocalist and only learned how to sing during his trainee time frame after joining the group. He has a few solo songs, as do each of the members. And they have many unit songs, songs with 2-4 members where they each get more lines distributed.
I hope you react to more of their discography. I really liked your input, and there are so many reactors that you can tell are not really genuine. BTS’s songs have such meaning, depth, range. And on top of that, they are genuinely beautiful people. Their bond with one another is just...I don’t even know. There’s just something about BTS. Before I became part of the fandom, I NEVER followed an artist/celebrity/public figure the way I do BTS. And if you had told my past self that one day I would, I would have fallen over laughing at the mere thought.

I almost laughed though, when you spoke of the comments you got about how you reacted to Jimin's voice. As soon as he began to sing you got, what I call "The Jimin Smile". It's a smile I have noticed that many vocal coaches/voice teachers share when Jimin begins to sing. Especially if it's their first time hearing him. It's a mix of surprise, appreciation for the beauty of his voice, impressed by his tone and talent, and something almost... transcendent. And so many describe his voice as "Unique", and "Angelic".
So don't worry about your expression when he sings, it's just "The Jimin Smile". And you are not alone in it💜😍
