And is the democrats that vote against the raise of the wage?? Who holds the true majority? There is tge lie and political mistake in messaging. Without a supermajority is futile. The gop has been always the party with voice in media. The corporate class own the voice heard in the USA. The Democrats say they had a majority. Is a lie . They are ignored in media. Because they don’t call tge working class and call to mobilize under that message.

The gop is the enemy. Tge democrats are just myopic . They vote correct most times but without a majority. Tge gop obstructs everything in congress and in the scotus. You are blaming the wrong side . But the “ good “ side should tell you the truth . That they don’t have the cards , the votes.

OLIGARCHY DICTATORSHIP. If people stayed with the policies in the 1970s not allowing corporations to get away with this mess the country would have stayed better. But then Reagan's selfish self-centered behind came in on the scene. 1970s and 1980s was about family, church, sports and when Reagan came near the very end of the 80s he made it all about greed, money and corporations. Prior to this the Democrats were more about family, PTO's, church and not the Republicans. All of this changed after Reagan got his Tarot seeking Christian behind in office. Not saying there's anything wrong with tarot reading or astrology seeking but they try to come off as though they are strict fire and brimstone Christians and they are not. They're a bunch of hypocrites.

Nearly 40% of the US is living at or below 125% of the FPL.
The top 3 richest people in the US have more money than 50% of the US as a whole.

I respect this speaker. However, VP Harris didn't desert working class values.
Reducing the cost of groceries by going after companies for price gouging. Kroger said their CEO made $19 million last year and they increase the cost of basic necessities like eggs milk bread higher than the rate of inflation. That is a problem and corporations are happy that Donald Trump will allow them to continue doing things like this. While laying off and paying workers less because the CEO is going to continue to make his $19 million.
Democrats wanted to keep the Affordable Care Act for families, $25,000 to buy a house, $50,000 start a business, the CHIPS ACT remaining, women's body autonomy so women can find a doctor to get preventative healthcare, support for public education, increasing the minimum wage, support for unions over corporations, increase the tax on the wealthy and not people making less than $400,000 a year, the wealthy pay into Social Security longer than they do now, Social Security Medicare remaining as federal government programs and not privatized, etc.
Elon Musk is the wealthiest person in this country. Government subsidies made him the wealthiest. The tech billionaires and JD Vance helped Elon Musk buy an election.
Bernie Sanders said that VP Harris lost because she did not solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Men haven't solved that since 1948. White fear and ignorance are why VP Harris lost the election.

This election was not really a stronger support for Trump. Trump had a net loss of 1 million voters. Harris had 13 million fewer voters than Biden. That was due to multiple reasons, but increasing poverty regardless of national economic growth and rapidly rising employment, is likely what made many poor people to give up on the election altogether.
There seems to be so much apathy that lots of people don't bother to vote. And when there is a significant drop in voting, the GOP usually wins.

Votters ended up going to a hearing and the Challenger never shows up. One person challenged 800 people at a time

They did try to raise the minimum wage. A bill was brought forward but All Republicans voted against it as well as 8 Democrats. I was a conservative pretty similar to Tim in my beliefs. I believed big government was a road to unfreedom, and that American institutions were a force for good. But it wasn’t the big government Libs who caved to authoritarianism, it was the so called Libertarians and conservatives. Some of us didn’t, but our ideology bred this movement. When the left emphasized that our policies bred class division and racial divide, they were right. When the left critiqued libertarianism by countering that corporate oligarchs were a more real threat to democracy, they were right. When the left said that an ideological loyalty to the markets exacerbated inequality and bred social discord, they were right. Billionaires bought this election by masquerading as working class, promising a false solution to problems they helped create. There is a place for small c conservatism going forward, but it’s going to have to be in defense of reformed institutions, not in defense of yesterday’s institutions”
