Greater ypc than B. Sanders, Gail Sayers, many others and fitzpatrick wasn't having it. I call BS. It should have been deemed an illegal tackle. New rule!!!!!!!!
Setting up blocks, no wasted movement, balance, power, subtle elusiveness. The perfect back. Packer fan here hoping he has a great comeback year. One of my favorite players in NFL to watch
The heart and soul of this team! In 30 + years of being a browns fan I can honestly say he's my favorite Brown of all time. Probably the second best player I've seen in that time as well. When he got hurt I literally teared up. I hope and pray he makes a full recovery! If he's able to come back and play a couple more yrs he'll go down as one of the best browns players of all time. Top 5 no doubt and the second best RB !
I love Nick Chubb. He's my favorite player. I'm so happy as a Browns fan to witness him play. When I saw that first game against the raiders with 3 carries and 2 long touchdowns I couldn't believe it. That first play I knew he was special. The browns knew it too and they traded Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson before the next week and put him at the top of the depth chart. I hope he continues his incredible next level running. I've never been so frustrated to see a football player get hurt or age than with him. I wish I could watch him dominate with the browns another 10 years. He is truly special.
When its all said and done Nick Chubb will be one of the best rbs in nfl history, to be in thr same era as derrik henry and still be pushing the boundry of what a rb can accomplish, and iirc he had better stats than henry a few times. Its incredible. Its like if you took rocket thrusters and threw them on frank gore and gave him a few of barry sanders moves
After watching our running game the past few weeks look like trash I needed to watch a nick Chubb video damn I miss this guy.I think as browns fans we got accustomed to his greatness but after not seeing him in a while then watching this video it’s a reminder of how damn good he actually is.I pray he can find a way to be his old self next season mainly for his sake he deserves it.
I have to say Chub had an amazing ability to go from 0-60. I seriously doubt he is ever going to have that freak speed burst ever again. But if anyone can prove us wrong it will be 24. Annxiously awaiting next year to see how he recovers. For CLE fans I really hope he gets it back. One of the best all around gentlemen in the game. Also have to say I miss the old white tops and orange pants.
One of the most impressive things I noticed was not only his physicality, but his sound fundamentals. The way he switches the the ball to the other hand to keep it away from the reach of defenders and then even at the end of long runs, his willingness to put two hands on the ball for security. A true professional.
Nick needs a nickname that pays homage to his technicality. Ice cold runner. We need something. Problem is, if he had the greatest nickname of all time, he'd be like, "My name is Nick Chubb."
Nick Chubb is such an incredible person on and off the field. Only player who will run for over 70 yards on a carry and not celebrate or rub it in just gets back in the huddle and keeps it completely professional. Love watching him play but honestly I don’t want him risking his health for the rest of his life… obviously it’s his decision but he’s already proven he’s one of the best to ever do it and can retire in peace. F minkah for that dirty ass hit man
Thanks for sharing this. We're so incredibly spoiled to have this talent on our team. It not only points out his amazing talent, but the incredible line in front of him.
There are few players in all of sport who create the excitement that this man demonstrates in this video. As one sportscaster remarked: “magnificent”. Wishing you a full recovery, Nick!!!! Go Browns!!!
It's so damn unfortunate this had to happen to one of the most explosive and pure running backs in the last decade. If he is forced to retire then its understandable, but would be dope if doctors clear him for next season. I'm not even a browns fan but i have lots of respect for Chubb.
There's a lot of talk about him getting cut to free up some cap space. I been a browns fan for over 3 decades and stuck with them thro a lot. If they cut him I wipe my hands with that organization!
It personally offends me when people talk about other backs in the same breath as this man. The only one that in the same stratosphere is McCaffrey because of his dual threat. But in terms of pure rushers, it hasn't been close since Nick Chubb's career started in that legendary Raiders game.
Yup. Chubb and CMC are on the same level as far as impact players. But they are both very pure runners if you watch them both. Chubb is faster, stronger and with long gear explosiveness, very, very, very technical, a dual threat, but so powweful, the Brown leverage him best as a full time rusher. CMC a little more shifty, short area explosive but slower, and a little more patient to match current speed (he has lost a little speed over the years), most technical RB ever, greatest dual threat since Faulk . Both a joy to watch.
Early in Chubb’s career I heard an analyst who supposedly knew football describe Chubb as a big lumbering back like he was three yards and a cloud of dust. I remember thinking this guy has no idea what he is about to witness.
I think the most comparable back to Nick Chubb is Marshawn Lynch. Big powerful backs who have enough speed to out run teams secondary’s and the power to push or run over anyone
Great highlights! I've got him in my top 15 all-time already. 5-11 227 lb powerlifter with great vision and 4.53 forty speed. First player in NFL history to average 5 yards a carry in each of his first 5 seasons with at least 100 carries. Hope he can make it back. LETS GO NICK!
After that Raider game which was the Browns 4th, Chubb didn't start the following week. He didn't even start till week 7. There went my $9000 Rookie of the Year hit, at 30 to 1 odds! Hugh Jackson, how could you be so blind! I'll never recover..... 😩😫😣
ohh brother.. Im a Steelers fan and Chubb is a great player but it wasn’t a cheap shot, get over it. Especially Minkah out of all players isn’t looking to hurt anyone. All the props to Chubb tho, thats why I’m here
@@dylanm394 sorry to tell you it was a cheap shot and the year before, Steelers did the same thing and got one defence man out for the season. I forgot his name.
I saw Nick Chubb play my son’s high school team during Chubbs’s senior year at Cedar Town high school in Georgia. Not only was he clearly the best player on the field, he was better than any running back playing for the Falcons that year in my opinion. His speed, vision, and power were on the level of a professional ball carrier. It was hilarious actually.
Been a Vikings fan as long as I’ve been watching football and watching Adrian Peterson is what made me a fan. This dude is the closest thing I’ve seen to that same power, elusiveness and explosive home run ability that AP had. Generational talent, really hope he recovers.
Yup i literally said the same thing before seeing yours. It looks like a 5 year old trying to tackle his 22 year old brother who hates him. Like idk how you get up and continue playing football. I’d just hang my helmet to the equipment guy and shake the coaches hand. Change my name and move to Siberia.
Miss watching his magic. Can't wait until next year. Hope he stays healthy and is the same after his injury. Some players are never the same after having such a big injury.
As a browns fan, it sucks. I belive that Nick Chubb even if he recovers should stay out of the season. Hear me out, yes, we need him. But it would be best we get him a little more recovered to play
Hope he can come back from the injury.....I get Flashbacks of him like a little Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith or Walter Payton....the guy can RUN 4 real.....
Man, I remember people defending that tackle like "BUT MINKAH GOT HURT TOO!". Yeah... He had a chest contusion from putting his entire body in front of a man's knee when he has 400lbs on his back pushing forward. A BRUISE. MINKAH GOT A BRUISE. Editing this to add: there could be a whole compilation of Minkah trying to actually tackle Nick Chubb and falling down.... There's 3-4 here. You love to see it.
That stiff arm at 8:59 looks like a small child was trying to tackle the mountain from GOT. Props to him for getting up and “back into” the play. Because I’d take my helmet off and retire on the spot. Got damn that was filthy. If I could go back and change one thing about the last 20 years of the NFL it would be to get this man into a real organization that built around him. It’s so sad that all of this was wasted in Cleveland. Imagine his stats if he played for a team that was able to run a he ball in the second half as well. I’d be willing to bet they are 25-30% higher on a legit team. Unfortunately the browns were relegated to the Hail Mary passing game after about the middle of the second quarter. As running the ball down 28-0 gets you fired even faster.
Please, please tell me we win the SB but I am afraid Nick will be like other really great players from the Browns over the years without even a SB appearance. Well, an appearance with the Browns. Seems they get traded or released and ends up on teams where they are starters and go to the SB. He is so fun to watch.
That tackle should be deemed ILLEGAL! We need a Nick Chubb rule. Then fitzpatrick couldn't tackle in the playoffs, didn't want to break a nail. Goddamn, I hate it!!!!
I really hope the league does something about these sit-down tackles - my stomach jumps when people are getting pulled back onto their own legs in the open field. Insanely dangerous.
Reward yourself with your first NFL contract and save your money. Reward your friends and family if you are lucky enough to get that second NFL contract. Always save money. No exceptions.
I hate the Browns for wasting this man prime with mediocrity at every position around him. I’ll give it to them that they have kept decent guards around, but that’s not coincidental that guard is the cheapest position to resign. I was sad for Chubb the day they signed Watson. Shit imagine Mayfield and Chubb together at the level Baker is playing at (I’m aware it’s not that amazing, but with Chubb next to him that’s a scary backfield.) my only hope is that he’s able to eclipse the dog shot organization and make the HOF.
most dominant RB today. hope he recovers. my fav player rn.

Still under the radar with some NFL fans who haven't watched the Browns. He's a H of Famer in my book (when healthy🤞).

Next year's comeback player of the year. Book it.
