    When I was 13-15 yo I used to do a lot of push-ups (I even have my own record 450 x knuckle push-ups 🔥). But by the age 18 I stopped training completely and when I started working out again 5-6 years later my chest got big so quickly that I stopped doing bench press for a while for other muscles to catch after that tremendous growth. Now I understand how important muscle memory is.
    For a long time now for chest and triceps I am only doing weighted dips (triceps version only) and still have better chest development than most guys in a gym.

    Zero bating actually. I had been asked on so many occasions to do a video about nuclei overload training so I finally decided to do one even though I had no interest in doing it. Was just giving the audience what they wanted. So I watched your video and others to see what people are doing and saying and then made a video. It wasn’t a pic on any one person to make fun of anyone person it was just to give the general audience and understanding of what people are doing for nuclei overload training and why it’s not needed or better at causing muscle growth then science based training. That 3-D guy ended up making a response video where I caught him making a bunch of lies about it which was unfortunate for himAs I then had to make a response video to him because he was using my name and trying to make fun of me the entire time. I don’t actually make my tags that’s way too much work if you think I even know how to add a tag then you are overestimating my text skills I worked 100 hours a week I don’t have time for that. But I don’t mind making this video because you just explaining what you think is the right way which is totally cool the 3-D guy was different because he was essentially trying to bash me and so I had to bury him which I did as anyone that watch the video will know and I’m not gonna bother with any more 3-D alphas videos I mean come on the guy does videos about how the sunlight is going to make you Jacked. I’m also not a fan of blood flow restrictor training but I really don’t wanna have to make a video on this either it’s just simply too boring for me and I have way too many other videos to make so I’m not gonna make a response video I have other videos that I’m working on I don’t have the time trust me I just don’t have the time. We’re cool though I hope people don’t see this as a Greg versus Scott hate each other tight video because I certainly don’t do you Scott as the enemy at all and I still continue to recommend people watch his videos I can’t say the same for 3D alpha sorry not actually sorry 🤷🏻‍♂️. I’m not actually against what you’re saying however if anyone thinks that my legs are big because I was a triathlete or that I’m Jack because I bike ride all the time or that running a lot is going to make you have big muscles or that farming all day is the secret to future muscle growth then they’re just out to lunch and if anyone thinks that the proper way to train is to do 10 sets of the same body part every day for a month then that simply ridiculous as well.

    • @ScottHermanFitness
      @ScottHermanFitness  4 роки тому +6

      Greg, I will take you at your word as you had told me before you have someone else do your video editing. But if you are "going to give the people what they want" then you should take into consideration that what you say is going to have an impact on them.
      I would have rather seen you make a video about Nuclei Overload Training talking about the fundamentals of what it is which, for the most part, is right in line with your training ideologies. You're always telling your community to "train harder". Nuclei Overload Training is also training harder, but with an added component of "more rest" in an attempt to detrain your body and try to make it once again more sensitive to muscle damage and mTOR. I think your community would certainly sit and listen if you took the time to present data that information and then offer your opinion on whether or not you think the data is valid.
      As for your big legs, I don't think Migan was trying to imply that you didn't train your ass off for years in the gym. His intentions were to suggest that due to all the bike riding/training you've been doing your entire life that you may have created more myonuclei in those muscles over the years and because of it when you hit the gym the additional Nuclei resulted in your legs being able to hold more mass which is why your hardcore training got them so big.
      My goal my video videos of 10 sets of 10 reps for 30 days followed by 10 - 12 days of detraining is to see if someone at my level can try to induce more growth over time this way. But for that to happen, I will need to repeat the 30 day runs multiple times and that will take time for a final result / definitely decision. But sharing my experience is definitely fun and eye opening.

Heaviest I've been, albeit with some fat addition. Time to hit NO on biceps, but I feel that 100 a day would get in the way of my home-gym workouts since each body part hit needs to count way more per set, as I'm dropping volume on a given day for more days/week working out. To be fair the video that team 3d alpha made in response to greg doucette was rushed and it made the concept seem even more gimmicky. Greg loves to feel right which in all honesty he technically was right cause his video was basically saying that overtraining is bad, but he is absolutely in the wrong for calling it nuclei overload. I actually hope he doesn't make a response to your video cause we all know he won't back down and will discourage more people from adding nuclei overload as a tool in their toolbox.

    The message here is to always include ALL variations of muscle stimulation. Nuclei overloading is awesome for muscle memory and cardiovascular improvements, and also mind-muscle connection. The muscles need a variety of attack to grow. I love doing these crazy 100-reps-a-day sessions twice to four times per year for a week, and once for a month and see enormous improvement, especially in the subliminal muscles, the little connective muscles that need higher rep stimulus. This overloading technique preps the muscle for growth once you go back to normal progressive training.
