Children's Message: The First Miracle

When we consider the miracles of Jesus, we often think about remarkable healings or nature defied, which are of course important. However, it is interesting to note that the very first miracle Jesus did was as seemingly simple as a drink transformation. This message looks at the events of the Wedding at Cana, and how it demonstrates that God cares about every detail of our lives. We also see the importance of trusting in who Jesus is and believing that He can take ordinary things and make them extraordinary.

Kristin is a servant of Christ who is blessed to currently be serving as Directory of Christian Education at Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Broomfield, CO. Originally a California native, Kristin has a master's in teaching from Biola University, as well as a master's in theology and a DCE certificate from Concordia Irvine. She spent several years in Georgia before being called to Colorado. She is overjoyed to be the mother of Samuel and wife of Colten, who also serves full-time at Risen Savior as Worship Director. In addition to enjoying her dream vocation, she also loves running, baking, music, history, and strong coffee.
