lost my mother at 16 back in 1977 . I was a bad boy and in juvenile detention and tried to call her one night and got no answer . the next day I found out she died. That night in the dorm someone was playing the radio and this song came on. I never felt so alone and sad in my life. I have always like the ELO version . But if anyone was going to try and remix this song I am glad it's you.

I don't think there are too many voices that could match the phenomenally talented one of our man Puddles. The way he synced up his tone and the timing was perfect.
Ever since I first saw this guy I've loved his control. Pitch is immaculate and he KNOWS WHAT HE CAN'T DO. He stays right in that warm tenor timbre and throws strikes all day. Just fantastic to listen to.

As someone who was raised on ELO and other classic rock groups, I can honestly say two things: Puddles, that was both hauntingly and heart breakingly beautiful (As it should most certainly should be) And, you definitely did justice to the great Jeff Lynn.

I was 24 and working at the phone company seeing that long distant calls made it to their destination when this song came out... This was one of my favs that ELO played... Puddles, you brought back my younger days and a tear in my eye in this heartfelt version. 😢

Saw him in the Troc in Philly about 5 years ago. He came into the audience and sang directly to some audience member. I will never forget what an extraordinary singer he was and now he seems even better. He is an amazing talent. I could listen to him every day of my life. I wish I could see him again but I don't know if he comes to Philly any more.

Puddles, I just want you to know, I'm going through some hard stuff at the moment, so i recently went up to the Highlands in Scotland UK. Miles and miles of mountains, forests and nature. The whole time, I had just your songs playing, in the car journey, sitting in the tent at night when it was raining outside, and having it on full blast into the hills on my speakers in a moon lit night. Was perfect in every way possible, and I just want to thank you for everything.I hope you see this. Do not ever stop.

Puddles what a beautiful and unique rendition of ELO's Telephone Line. I've always loved their music and feel they've been so overlooked. What a fabulous and very unique rendition, Thank You, I've replayed it five times and love how you mixed each of the vocals giving that slightly different tone in your voice to each of the parts you sang. Classic! I remember listening to ELO growing up in the late ‘70’s and it’s still a great song for a Friday night listen. Puddles doing Adele is a blast! Thank you for some Friday night tunes!

I have been a huge ELO fan for over forty years. I was thrilled when they made a huge resurgence from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. But this is far better than any ELO version of Telephone Line I have ever heard.

Also, I've concluded that your left eyebrow (viewer right) is connected directly to your vocal cords. As your pitch gets higher and your sustain longer, it gets lower. The shortening of your vocal cord pulls down your eyebrow.
A MILLION KUDOS to whoever laid down the guitar tracks for "Hello." It ROCKS. The distortion and soloing are PURE HEAVEN.
