every time I listen to Sistar, I realize that only they can deliver their concept, no one can do it better than them, especially in this era. the first group that made me fall in love with KPop .

The band part wasn't just a concept! The wonder girls played their instruments live during the reboot era performances (just not on the record) and wrote and played their own instruments on why so lonely

I was gonna say this too! They had so many appearances where they demonstrated the results of all their effort learning to play the instruments!
I think minhyuk said on kingdom is that btob is so well known for tbeir vocals only and if you ask poeple about them poeple simple answerd as a vocal group thats why he said he wants also poeple recognized that btob rappers are also talented too not only the vocalist!
Definitely, "Nobody" is just so iconic. It's from that era of K-pop where MVs liked to have some story in them! And love that joke when JYP fails to show up on stage - "Nobody" XD But it's also poetic in the way that JYP launched the success of the Wonder Girls, in real life, just like in the MV. Also, Hyuna was only in the group during their debut with "Irony". It's already Yubin as the rapper at this time.
"Nobody" was also a big point during the "Hallyu wave" of 2nd-gen K-pop, that is, the increasing popularity of K-pop outside of South Korea, in particular in other Asian countries. And "Nobody" definitely became popular around in Asia, and with the English version here, it's one of the first K-pop songs to intentionally target toward the Western market after all!
"Hush" was SO Iconic when it came out, especially using that horizontal bar for the choreography!
Definitely, JYP's composing style for his group's title tracks was more simple and by the book, even compared to other labels at the time, let alone to today lol But he wrote what was needed for the songs, catchy hooks!

The choreography is so sexy AND beautiful, the vocals are epic (especially queen Hyolyn ofc) and I'm still in awe of these WOMEN doing it all in heels. QUEEENS!! I miss a lot of things from around the mid 2010s (is this how you say it?) in K-Pop, it was an amazing time with so many good releases!!!

Last September I saw Min of miss A perform a handful of songs including 'Bad Girl Good Girl', 'Good-bye Baby', and 'I Don't Need a Man'. She was tremendous 🙂

Finally some Wonder Girls! "Nobody" is iconic and the song that got me into kpop so many years ago. If I remember correctly, WG started learning instruments during the "I Feel You" era but did not record the instrumentation for the album. They did, however, do it for "Why So Lonely."
I would definitely suggest you check out "I Feel You, "So Hot" and maybe "Like This." The album for "I Feel You," Reboot, was considered by Billboard as one of the best kpop albums of the 2010s, so would def be interested in your checking that out.
Also maybe check out some of the other members when you get the chance. ha:tfelt, Yubin and Sunye all have solo songs :)
Bora is the rapper of the group. They show her alone at 6:57 Soyou and Dasom are the other members of the group, and Soyou is lead vocal along with Hyolyn, Bora is the main rapper, and Dasom has the role of vocal. Soyou is at 2:30 (the woman in the white dress laying in the rose petals) and Dasom is I believe is the woman with the writing on her back, if not she is the one singing during that time saying "Jebal, Jebal, Jebal" (which mean Please, please, please).

Miss A, the reason why TWICE got solo stuffs late in their career. They were such a legendary group, winning awards during debut and when they disbanded people just blamed it all on Suzy. JYPE did promote the other members more early on and Suzy was not that known, but when she starred in Dream High (with IU, Taecyeon & Wooyoung of 2pm,Eunjung from T-ara and Kim Soo Hyun) her fame skyrocketed, she got more recognition in the movie Architecture 101 where she was dubbed as Nations First Love, then she got endorsements from here and there. In Only You (which is btw their disbandment song) she got more hate as she had a lot of lines and people were so angry at her. But when she had a few lines from their previous songs no one anything.

Minho's music is totally my vibe. Stay For A Night is definitely my most played song of 2024 so far. He really does sound so good in it! The MV makes his vocals sound more comforting, but then the choreo (esp in the Suit Dance video) definitely shows his more sensual side 😉 He had his first fan-concert (which I guess is different from just a fan meeting because there's more songs performed) so it was very nice to have a new song to watch. Thanks for reacting! 😁

the reason why minhyuk is one of my favorite rappers is he can rap fast and aggressively on a slow ballad, and make it work. whereas most rappers will choose to rap slowly and follow the melody.

Minhyuk composed "Please" I think Minhyuk didn't saw himself as a notable member of the group because people usually don't named the rappers when they talked about btob, so maybe was because of the public nule opinion.

Girl whoever said the instruments part of wonder girls was a concept, they are wrongggg, they learned for their "Reboot", which they also composed, and kept it for why so lonely, sunmi even plays her bass in concerts

So, I'm not sure if anyone mentioned but, JYP's pre pre pre idol group production was G.O.D.
Way before Wonder Girls. G.O.D (just read out the letter names) is technically prior to what you call like... 1st Gen Idol these days. They were like 0.5.
So H.O.T and Sechskies (pronounced jecks kiss) these two were like the 1st idol boy groups kind of like Gen 0. Then something like 0.3-0.5 was GOD along with ShinWha.
Then after that like 0.5-0.8 or I guess what we kind of call gen 1 now days is TVXQ.
I don't know if this helps. Im just laying it out from what I remember.
FYI.
H.O.T., ShinWha were SM, and S.E.S was first girl group from SM in the same era.
JYP's first group was G.O.D and they were freaking poor as hell. there are so many stories you can find about this.:
DSP (called Daesung media was another big one, which now became RBW I think,) had Sechskies(Boy group) and Finkl (girl group with lee hyori, and ok joo hyun- today she is no.1 musical diva in Korea)
I don't know why this became so long, but in textbooks, they say Korea's precursor of idols was SeoTaeJi and Boys. And it is kind of true.

coming from a vocally highly acclaimed group, minhyuk has always felt his lack of importance in the group, while in reality, the three rappers of btob are the only ones that can fit in a ballad type discography. they dont realize their importance:(

Hey, KP, if you wanna listen to more Miss A, my favorite Bsides are Lips & Love Song. Really great songs that I think you'll enjoy.
For songs with MV, I would recommend Love Alone (this one has a MV, and it's more of Behind the Scenes of their performances), Breathe (because the song is camp, not very strong vocals, but it's very catchy) and their debut, it's very iconic and you'll probably have heard it somewhere, Bad Girl Good Girl.
