This set is currently 27 years old and still sounding hyper fresh. Some proper tight mixing right here. Wicked set. Bigups for the upload, absolutely loving this again. 👍🏻👍🏻
I can't believe my ears wow. I searched for 'here it comes' which I've only found a remix way too fast. Omg this is what I was playing off pirate radio at 14 in 1993 ish. Canvey Island Essex at the time. Boom
I could never understand why people would listen to Happy Hardcore when we had a genre of music with pure Soul and feeling in our midst. Exploitative and Pioneering. All jungalist Massive!
Heavy mix, Seduction was always a quality selectah and mixer, regardless of genre once everything fractured, respect Mickey for the tracklist knowledge 👊
Why did I not spot this earlier. 400th like haha. Anyway great mix all the tracks defo up my street and pretty much what I used to spin on radio . Thanks Mikey.
When I saw Seduction, dark and jungle in the title I had to investigate! I used to just know him as a hardcore and then, later on, a happy hardcore DJ. Checked out the tracklist and saw that the selection is banging (takes me right back)...the mixes are on point too! Nice upload, playlisted!!
Mate, I did the same. Was thinking, DJ Seduction, dark, jungle?! I must be missing something! It turns out I have been missing something, this quality set!!
Tracklist is up although there are a few gaps to fill in. Know most, but the ID's are stuck in the recesses of my tiny little corona addled mind. If anyone can help in the meantime, that'd be appreciated.

Easy Mickey, I highly recommend that you remove dj bass - pushing me from the description because he had my mix taken down for copy right and got my account flagged, stay bless and stay safe all crew x
Although this mix is Seduction, Slipmatt used to DJ jungle too from time to time. I remember seeing him in the Stratford Rex downstairs playing a jungle set, back in the day. I asked for a request and he told me to eff off. Great night!
Slipmatt and seduction were playing hardcore(the breakbeat variety) through 92 and 93 so they probably have some appriciation for the darker sounds.whatever reasons they went the happy hardcore way.and happy hardcore really wasnt my cup of tea. its nice to hear a bit of what we like.
@@carllucey9130 what a stupid comment, no it doesn’t. I can play you plenty of old and new drum and bass tracks that don’t contain the amen break, do you need to be schooled? And ease up with the “ffs” aggression. Learn how to post or don’t bother.
@@Stevieboy74 Schooled haha - Brilliant - Studied dance music production at Point Blank London and play drums - the basic two step all modern dnb uses if from the amen you dick.
@@Stevieboy74 Schoolded- fucking brilliant, I've spent many years in dance music production and I'm a trained sound engineer from Point Blank London and play live drum and bass. the two step beat is from the amen break. Bellend.
@@carllucey9130 I don’t give a fuck who you are lol, why have I never heard of you then? I know where the two step came from, and most modern two step is utter shit. Nothing compares to the original drum and bass that strangely enough didn’t always contain the amen. There were loads of other breaks being used in production at the time, and most of the best tunes didn’t contain the amen imo, but yeah keep bleating in your cocky big headed way that every tune contained the amen, and we can all laugh at you! Only one bellend here sunshine. End of conversation
Jungle was a time and place really.hardcore and darkside before it.but i guess drum and bass has gone on for longer.a natural evolution i guess.im not particularly into a lot of modern drum and bass.either too polished or too mechanical.so im glad i was there through 92-97.

Yes my man🇬🇧🔥🔥 Sound off vibes 🤙👊😉😜
Yes bro.we took some of your hip hop breaks and turned it in to some new shit.glad you like it.spread the word.

Lovely jubley
Ngl, the melody of Musics Hypnotizing with the drums and bassline of Calling All The People sounds SO GOOD! (38:47)
I was born 93 missed it all sometimes when I listen I think I was there this is🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was raving me nuts off in 93.a dark but wonderful year.you missed out.but hey you cant help when your born.at least you can listen to the tunes now.
I was like 6 or 7 years old. Was born in 86
same I always imagine how life could have been if I was raving instead of being a baby unaware of my surroundings yet
absolute bliss. I love jungle, I hope it never goes away
Jungle will never die mate... Long live the junglists
Best genre to come of this country IMO
One of the true british music scenes.took various influences and came up with something fresh.well hardcore first then jungle.
Jungle is still here, very much alive and well. 👍🏻
Im 18 now been a junglist since i was 7 and ill still be pumping these tunes when im 80 😂
I remember - Slipmatt - Breaking Free coming in at AWOL in Islington and rushing my wotsits off waiting for the drop 💞💞💞💞
Timeless!

Oh Jesus, how can it get this good?
Never realised Seduction played this style!
Seduction was early 90,s all the way through to 2000
Check out his tune cokoo in the jungle 👍
Only just found this channel via a friend. Big Up
Seduction would have been a major asset in the Jungle back then.
Love this channel, keep up the good work Mickey!
WTF THIS IS AMAZING!?!?!
Thanks for the awesome upload
This is a serious mix - choice selection and blend
I could never understand why people would listen to Happy Hardcore when we had a genre of music with pure Soul and feeling in our midst. Exploitative and Pioneering.

there was demand for both happy sounds and the darker side. Open your mind bro :)

That Randall remix of ‘Lord of the null lines’ I have on 10”, rare slab of vinyl!!!
klass, thanks
Top man. You is the best
Best memories old skool👍
Calling all the people and some gq.job done.
About 80% of the tracks in this mix use the Amen break in some form. It just shows how popular and influential is was during this period.
ALL DNB USES THE AMEN BREAK IN SOME FORM, INCLUDING STUFF MADE TODAY FFS.

Seduced by mix.👍... Only really heard his 'appy 'ardcore stuff ;-)
Love the tunes but You tube has ruined it by so many adverts!!!

It's a shame jungle turned into dnb, the original jungle from late 93 into 94 is something else
the spirit was preserved in the darkest garage 2steps beats
