I made this with almonds instead of cashews, 3 dates instead of 2, almond milk instead of water, and chia seeds instead of flax seeds and I loveee the way it came out. It tasted more like a dessert smoothie and it was sooo filling. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Made it just now but added a pinch of pink himalayan salt and tumeric. Topped it with fresh grated coconut. It's a very subtle taste but quite satisfying. Though it was just over a cup I am so full right now!

Thanks for the recipe, why you added flexseed without soaking them, I have read somewhere that we should soak them or roast them before consumption, raw flexseed should not be taken.

I have a question, ma'am. You soak the oats to release the phytic acid. Is that why you discard the soaking water? Is the phytic acid that causes indigestion, bloating etc?

That was very wise to use 3 dates instead of 2 because according ancient manuscripts dates should be eaten in odd numbers like 3,5,7,9 etc.

Yes, that's correct. First grind the flaxseeds in a coffee grinder and only then add it to the smoothie.
Please correct me if I am wrong I fry flaxseed with out oil keep it in a jar take one spoon daily .
