I was there, everyone was cheering and laughing at the rant (very few respectful people). Except the people who were drunk, booing ever comic, not caring that people are trying to watch a show, and some were just throwing frisbees to each other like it was a normal day a the park. The crowd started drinking early at an outdoor event and they just shit on almost everyone they dragged on stage, including Dom Irerra, a veteran stand up comic and writer. So Bill wasn't hopeful when it was his turn to go up, they started Booing right off the hop. He tried two bits and they wouldn't let up. He got so thrown off his game, he just went off. And shit on them for the rest of his set. It ended up turning the crowd around for the rest of the show.

I am such a fucking nerd that I can tell you that this particular clip is the best one in terms of the crowd noise - that's the only reason why I would choose this one even with the two minutes clipped off at the beginning, which is what some of the other posters are talking about. When I say that the crowd noise is better on this one, I mean that there are two different sound recordings of the crowd, taken from two different locations in the arena, and this is by far the funniest one. In this, he was the final act, but instead of doing his bit, he decided her was just going to drag the whole damn city down the way they were doing to all the comedians before him.

I actually find him more juvenile than witty, and his comebacks rely heavily on shock humor. He's better when he has time to think about his jokes or when he's on national tv and he has to be clean, therefore not relying on shock humor but on cleverness.

I actually find him more juvenile than witty, and his comebacks rely heavily on shock humor. He's better when he has time to think about his jokes or when he's on national tv and he has to be clean, therefore not relying on shock humor but on cleverness.

philly was booing everyone before him, for 3 hours. Then Bill went up. He was pissed before he hit the stage. They booed him and it was fucking over. this was someone in the crowd recording it once he realized Bill was fucking up everyone. He had to do 15 minutes to get paid. so he roasted the entire crowd and city for 15 minutes.
The person talking on the mic (It might have ben Patrice O'Neal) was mentioning Vincent Papale -- the guy who tried out for and made the Eagles. He wanted Bill to go on a rant about him. They did a movie about him. This was all part of the Opie and Anthony Virus Tour from around 2005.
Something else that makes this rant better is he actually starts getting cheers from that audience

Bill wouldn’t dare go off on Patrice like that.
The crowd had been booing comedians off the stage that whole night, so when Bill came on, he started attacking everything they cared about while refusing to go off the stage until the time was over. And just a heads up, the start of the video is missing, so you didn`t get to see when he came on stage and the crowd tried to boo him off in the beginning before he started attacking everything they loved lol And then getting a standing ovation at the end, legendary.
