What's relevant for me: - I hope this "Guard of Honor" makes Ms Pelicot feel recognized - She is accompanied by warm hearts, she is not alone - Other women may find courage watching her experience - It is admirable to see Ms Pelicot courage, dignity and will - Most Men behave differently when in group, than when they are alone - The bacchanals (real or imagined) at bachelor parties is an example - Internet allows contacting with like-minded people, fast and easy - Men and teens are exposed to porn like never before - This is shaping the way they relate to others
it's all the same. most porn contains activities that a normal person would consider assault. but a lot of people are pornsick and don't want anyone to discuss their precious porn
It’s frightening how it was many oridinary men. Married, children & educated & some not. In a wide range of ages too. It’s also terrifying how no doctors had a clue what was happening to her. That really goes to show you that you have to be involved in your own state of health. Losing track of time & days is a huge sign you may have been drugged. Dizziness as well. Not to mention memory loss like something simple as forgetting what something is called & taking awhile to remember a word that you normally wouldn’t forget. That’s Huge indicator that you may have been drugged or assaulted.
I am not surprised at the ordinariness of the men. If we could Id who might rape by how they look we would be better able, as women, to protect ourselves. In addition character evidence from other people is so unreliable that I am surprised that the courts even accept it. We hear so often in court and elsewhere that an act was not in a person’s character but it is nonetheless proven to have happened. Sadly Gisele had no choice in this situation but it does provide a stark and dark warning to other women.
How can it even be considered that the verdict will not be "guilty"?
Its hard to imagine a rape law without the word "consent" being involved.

@mimiii1788 no, most porn is not assault/rape simulation. This is a seperate category altogether.
This is how these predators are allowed to walk again and again! What is the confusion!

Many tourists have reported previously that it's very common in France to spike women's drinks..
The French better get used to women fighting back, DIRTY

Also go after the online platforms where these men met.
Would a blood test have shown the drugs up?
Hair do
I don't get why doctors didn't test for STDs?
If I had experienced those kinds of symptoms, I think the health care where I live would have.
Only if the media is consistent and if this new attitude trickles down to schools in the country.
