Another fantastic, informative show from HMI school, really loved the bit on feeding older horses and trying to make them look younger, it hit home for me as I have an older pony I've been worried about but this made me see that shes doing ok, just getting older. Thank you so much xx
I have 4-5 species of grass including patches of perenial rye and barley grass (bain of my life when is dry!), diverse browsing also inc blackberry, rosa canina, wild quince, pear, carob, eucalypt, pinus, spearmint, mallow and nettles. Am very fortunate but am not panicing over the rye so much. Am fortunate and as we longterm rent it is what it is. I feed out teff and straw also
