I might have to see this in hand to make a better judgement. Have to say your camera work is superb Rob whatever camera you use in your videos or Iphone etc. Great clarity. These two G-shock offerings don't quite do it for me. I own a maybe slightly obscure Casio AWG-M100A-1ACR G-Shock Solar Atomic Analog...analog works better for me than numbers due to advancing years...and just love it...a $100 watch. Blue bezel, black resin strap. A very cool watch that wasn't the biggest G-shock seller. Dead accurate. Super easy to read hand position. I prefer the analog models of G-shock but the digital ones are very cool if I could read the numbers better. Love G-shocks.
Just got this watch, it looks outstanding, the only con is they got rid of the mon-fri on the small dial for the useless info of what you have set on the digital display
@@smokee3820 probably not, but I don't need to know what function my watch is on either when I can already see that. Days of the week seems more useful
They do continue to release multiband, but several of the models are going bluetooth only lately. Not sure if that's because bluetooth is more globally available, or if having both radios in some of these anidigital models might make them bulkier? Probably just cost. The dumb thing is I now have 4 different Casio apps on my phone for various watch bluetooth syncing. The Casio Watch app, the Gshock app. The Gshock Move app, and the Protrek app. Can they not just consolidate?
@@Smokey_A Dunno about cost: I have the GW-B5600MG (module 3461) with both BlueTooth & MB6 which cost € 139, just € 10 more than the 5610. I also have the black 2100 shown in this video but I never wear it so I'm gonna sell it. Main gripes are the lack of lume on the hour markers and the lack of MB6 so it doesn't show the same time as my MB6 watches in my 'solar watch box'. Also the small digital screen is much harder to read than the screen on a a digital only model (also because my eyes are aging) and the hands are often in the way of the screen. The 2100's are cool looking watches just not as practical as the MB6 squares IMO.
I've got half a dozen GA-2100's and they mix and match well. Love them all!

I have it. I like it and it looks better in person. The negative display is extremely hard to read, but the backlight is excellent.

So the date and seconds window cannot be changed to be able to see it better in a black background is really hard to see the date

They couldn't keep the buckle metal? Not a fan of the plastic buckle on a G-Shock. Great video tough.

Glare on watch crystal from the light was nearly constant in your up close shots of watch. Couldn't see the face well.
